It's really quite pointless to be comparing guitarists all the time. Each has his own style, and nobody will ever agree on who is the best. Tom is my personal favorite(for his riffs, not his sound effects). But I would say Slash has much better solos. But I just like listening to all kinds of different guitarists, I'd get bored if I didn't.

Everyone should respect Tom for his skills a little more. Just because he doesn't play LIKE Slash doesn't mean he can't play better than him. Everyone I know who doesn't play guitar says that he sucks and is easy to beat on Expert on Guitar Hero, and I always tell them how wrong they are because they have no idea what he does to sound like he does.

It's actually amazing how they were able to put such a different twist on this song. The original is much slower paced. That covers album is underrated. Maggie's Farm by Bob Dylan was another that they did a great job bringing the RAGE out of.
