Amazing car, for the money you just can't compare anything to it. The Honda Civic Si is about $3000 more, of course you get a few more horses, but 170 horse in the Scion is potent, plus the Scion has much much more torque than the Civic Si. Toyota quality is +10!

06 and 07 i think. and its only like 50% of them have the problem. and the issue can totally be avoided if u swap the tranny fluid out as soon as you get the car. my car has 30k miles on it and i have the 3rd gear issue. its not that big of a problem at all just annoying at times. hopefully the engine torque dampner makes it better.

oh yea. theres a TSB out for it so f u experince those problems you take it to the dealership and the have to fix it. as long as ur under warranty. theyl ovehaul ur tranny and fix the problem for free. so its no problem

7 seconds??? I don't think so. It's more like 9-10 seconds. If you're lucky, maybe 8 and a half seconds. I've timed them and it's definitely not 7 seconds. On the other hand, i also timed the new 4 cylinder eclipse and it came in at 12 seconds.

Each RS came with a special paint job that most Scions dont come with..stock.

Every RS before this one came with a lipkit and every RS come's with custom seats.

actually the engines are different.

the one in tc shares the same block as the camery but overall built/tuned different. tc engine done in Japan, camery engine in the US.

two DIFFERENT engines, power output is relitivly close for peak mpg only.

besides the 2az family has been replaced by a 2.7 I-4 with 182 hp and tq.
