  • A lovely work and performance; great chops and technique. It is not nearly often enough that a concert piece is composed to feature the xylophone. So glad to see that this is out there, being seen and heard as the instrument needs to be exposed more and more often as contemporary percussion voice. The xylophone in a context which is NOT comical or kitschy is quite wonderful, haunting.
