UNSC thinks that Cortana, Chief, and the ship is dead and gone. and we have no idea about the surviving spartans that were launched on ships in a random direction when the Covanant scattered them

@17sqnpro did you read the fall of reach book there are 4 spartans and doctor hasley stuck in a alternate unierse type thing there are 4 surviving spartan 3s they were the cheaper expendable ones but they were better than they thought so maybe they will do that
