  • i love hungarians

  • looks delish, will try it! :)

  • too overcomplicated, flour milk eggs boom.

  • wow the soda was very suprising

  • soda water is that sparkling water?

  • @aoifebreen If I haven't got soda water I use coke/lemonade...same effect and doesn't effect the flavour.

  • @valbooger My dad showed me how to make these as a young girl...there the best.

  • made them in foods class... THEY WERE AWESOME! Dont forget ti sift the flour...

  • great

  • in stead of calling the title

"How to make Hungarian Crepes" with Peter Vamos you could just call it how to make pancakes?

  • Hmm, interesting. I like this kind of videos. Nice piano playing! Could you play something of Nick Kershaw? (Bienvenue dans mon canal aussi! ;-) )

  • Palascinta! :)

  • the voice of peter vamos is like gastuevid in ratatouille

  • wow. Wasn't expecting this.

  • the song.. :') the crepes :')

  • Instead of water in crepes butter used soda. Good job! Soda adds the sweetness to the butter mixture. A single recipe that could be used in different kind of dish. How thoughtful to a Musician Chef and I love his accent.

  • Hey? Wheres Perry??

  • pancake wanker

  • And I like ur music. :)

  • With milk it's much better!!! Instead of soda water but works.

  • @dgdhqgdyukqud the soda water incorporates a lot of air which makes the crepe very light. milk is heavy and dense.

  • And a wonderful cook too! :-) yum.

  • just love you videos!!!! I hope you keep making videos like this!!!

  • enjoyed watching your music and receipes. will check back again for more cooking ideas. thx!

  • I like recipe videos and fun stuff like playing the piano in between breaks or waiting for the food to bake.

  • good job keep it up buddy

  • thee onlay ting i like on thiiiis vedeio is thee .......(accent) :)

  • ''A little bit of powdered sugar..''

*covers the whole crepe in sugar*

  • love the way you talk :)

  • you are awesome!! now I know why my "palacinke" never looked like i planned it... I´ll have to put more mineral water in it next time - thank you :))

  • Beautiful presentation, I loved the music within the "cooking show".

  • I don''t know what I enjoyed more, the delicious looking crepes or the song. Or maybe his accent, in fact. Great job Peter Vamos.

  • 'Vamos que vamos' haha, did you know that 'vamos' in portuguese means 'let's go' ? Well, the video was perfect... great recipe, great piano player !

  • Beautiful Crepes. Thank you Peter Vamos :)

  • Good video.

I have never seen anyone make crepes with club soda. Very interesting.

I prefer crepes in the traditional way with sweet ingredients.

  • Yes. Caster or castor sugar. Look up "sugar" on Wikipedia. It will be next to the regular granulated sugar in your supermarket.

  • Were those Hungarian mangoes? ; ) While waiting for the batter to rest/rise, I would have dyed my hair.

  • the hungarian crep is almost exact to the romanian

  • Very nice music and food exelent :)

  • OMG thank you your last minute idea was PERFECT.

    I MUST try this :D

the powder sugar, is confetti sugar the same or no?

Just asking before i make a mistake :3

  • what sort of sugar did the guy add

    ??

  • @Antonio001z powder sugar..

  • @EuropeanGuy87 thanks

  • @Antonio001z You're welcome !

  • @Antonio001z In America it is called powdered sugar. It might be called baker's sugar in other places. It's the light snow-like powdery sugar you see on pastries.

  • @DCFunBud Is it the same thing as Caster Sugar?? Im in Australia ands all i could find in the shops

  • bless!

  • Very nice, the music and the food . I love that serving plate too.

  • Csinta, csinta, palacsinta. Imádom a palacsintát! Édesanyám túrós palacsintát szokott sütni. Soha tudott eleget sütni a két testvéremnek és nekem. Nem volt maradék! Ön szépen zongorál.

  • 很棒~

  • You sir are amazing. Thank you for not only the music but wonderful recipe :)

  • you are so talented it blows my mind!

  • Thank you Peter.

I have fond memories of palacsinta (stuffed crepes) growing up as a kid, and hope to share those fond memories and my Hungarian heritage with my own children.

I'm astonished that so few people appreciate that palacsinta can be both a savoury and a sweet dish, and can equally well serve as an entrée, main or even a desert.

My favourite was always a sweetened sour cream and raisin combination.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Regards,

    Tibor (James)

  • That looks good.....*drools*

  • In Germany you usually get crépes with sweet things in it. Ask myself, if chicken, mushrooms and cheese fit to the sweet crépe....

  • @olli2591 Yes in Hungary also, in sweet thin crepes comes sweets , and thicker crepe no sugar added comes bean stew, chicken stew, veggie on and on ... Nevertheless Peter used sweet crape for both, sound good to me .

  • You're wonderful! I love 'palacsinta', easily one of my most favourite foods ever.

I really enjoyed the piano piece as well; very classy. :)

  • @BlackRoseRocket You mean Vincent Price?

  • @Quisyfrottesypique I love Vincent Price but I didn't mean one actor in particular. The voice wouldn't be right.

  • @BlackRoseRocket We viewed some Vincent Price around Halloween, so that is who I had in mind... I too love actors from those old Black and White movies and how sophisticated everyone seemed... I will be following Peter Vamos for a while.

  • @Quisyfrottesypique Yeah even the rhythm they talked in was different.
