thanks for that song with the vid, my quaker absolutely loved it and he is already starting to sing it, I can't wait till he gets it and can sing it by himself.
I have a quaker that we found. He is very "ME, ME, ME!" Sometimes affectionate, sometimes territorial, and sometimes screeches REALLY loud. But I adore him no matter what mood he is in. The problem with parrots in general is that they have a very high intelligence and get bored easily so they need a lot of things to do and see. They need variety and "playtimes" I try to give mine as much attention as I can but he plucks his feathers out anyway out of boredom.
Dude, YOU missed out.. I was being a bit snarky.....I've had birds, dogs, cats, and horses-which I make my living at-for more than 30 years...It was a bit of humour, bud...
Please people, I was being a bit sarcastic... that bird is more loved than anything.. WE had a full blown custody battle over the thing.. And yes, I say "thing".. She's a foul mouthed, LOVEABLE pig. My ex cant get a date with the bird in the house always coming out with her OBSCENE comments.. The smartes bird, and most LOVED ever- Get a sense of humor,,, you must have one to have one in your life.. PLEASSSSSSSE
I get that! I was playing along. Come on, who has time for birds, dogs, cats, horses, and pet rocks? Everyone knows how much time pet rocks need...
I'm still missing my Quaker Charlie, their intelligence and personality beats any other bird in the world. And yes, when they figure out how to get into the treat tub, they are pigs!
I have a blue Quaker witch I think is prettier then the Greens but if I did not get a blue I would have been happy with the green he was 350 but the shipping and the plain ride he took all the cost 500

You missed out.
They are high energy birds, but given enough love, attention and a good diet, these birds are better than dogs.

I have missed out.. I am allergic to cats, rabbits and horses, plus a stack of plant borne stuff.
So, I have been tragically, mentally, and permanantly harmed by this video... I may never recover!
For compensation, can I have your bird?
Please?
Or, could you give the Quaker a cuddle and kiss from me?
verticalsmurf 2 years ago
I'll french the Quaker for you , though I may lose half a tonge. Horse kisses are much nicer...
Pet rock, maybe?? Or a Furby?

I hope you do loose half your tongue!!!
My Sun Conure Phoenix is an excellent guard-bird, and an adorable snuggle-bug, but I miss Charlie, my blue quaker, who a friend accidentally let go.

how much is a quaker parrot?
michael8819 5 years ago
Usally they are about 250, plus you have to buy a cage and food, which is equals about 350 all together if not more. I used to have one.
dparty37 5 years ago
They usually cost between a hundred and two hundred dollars.
meg5522 4 years ago
depends where you get one and what color. My Green was 200, though I've seen place sell them for 300. The Blue ones are the most expensive.
