Talk about s flash back to the hood! Does anybody know the whereabouts of Jesse(Disco P)or Warren(Rock T)? I havent seen nor heard from the old crew since moving after Hurricane Andrew. Oh, by the way Jesse, do you still have my Yamaha DX11 synth?
@verobrass -I happen to be very good friends with Jesse. I went to Jr High with him. Haven't seen him since I moved out of Miami 15 years ago but we're still in touch and he's one of my friends on Facebook and we call eachother a few times a month.
I was shaking windows in NY when this was out. They taught I had house speakers in my regal. But i was booming 4 12in Evs. with the horns in the back window screaming clear. Trues and vogues and a booming stereo. I was the shit in every city i went to. So ahead of the game. I was the first in Virgina with the back seat pull down. MIAMI
the BASS is so good it needs to be played as loud as your speakers can go but dont upset anyone you must understand there are some strange people who dont like this kind of music but never mind they cant help it.';-)
@tacticalbattledroid STRANGE PEOPLE,,,man you said it RIGHT!! Idiots that dont know real beats. They rather listen to a song that speeds up a record and sounds like the chipmunks,, add a little Auto-tune to it and you have what these idiots call a "SONG"
Jammin' Joe in the house! DJ TMS! How you doing? Still Jammin' in Boston Ma. Coach College and High School Football. My players don't believe I used to do this stuff!
Last I heard Disco P was doing security at 163rd Street Mall in Miami. Davey D was living in Africa, Dr. Z did his thing with the Air Force, and I don't know about the rest of the crew - at least not the original ones anyway when I was part of PRC. As for myself, I'm back on the music grind after a long hiatus at real life, producing tracks and doing mixes. Stay tuned!
BTW... gaylonj... I only know of two people who created Party Rock Crew - Jammin' Joe Rizzo and Dr. Z. Unless you are either of them, why do you claim you are "The Maker" of PRC?
aw-yea...what they do... SOUTH MIAMI HIGH!!! GO COBRAS...lol long time since i calmed that...lol..thats where i was when this song came out...lol.. i wonder where these guys are now? this song sounds great in a car with BASS!!!!!
Hell yeah man. This was my fav bass tune back in 87. I remember I used to pick up my cousins from school every day in my 1980 Celica with 2 15" Pyle Driver's cranking this tune. It would piss off security and my cousins would love it. LOL. I've got this record on the original 12" that I bought back in 87'
