In my Russian campaign, I tried to hold the peace with France while fighting the Ottomans. I did this for four years untill France invaded. I had a huge battle near Moscow where I lost 5000 men (4 full armies). The winter really pushed him back, and now I have a World War, and Austria and Poland have turned into massive killing fields where several thousand men die every turn. So far this has been the most fun of any total war game. The historical accuracy was also much better than empire...
Russia and Britain are the easyest campains, with the russian campain you only have the enemy comming from one side, and with britain it's realy unlikely that enemys come to the iland.
Russia is not easy on VHVH. The Ottomans in the south push hard, the French landed in Crimea and moved to Belgograd, and there is so much room in Russia I had a huge problem killing off the French armies, for they all went for Moscow. Britain, however, is probably really easy like you said.

American lost because they fought against not an army but a whole country.

I have a slight problem regarding this game, every time i ask for a trade embargoes in order to achieve a trade agreement i can't; with a nation that does not have an extra slot for me , it still says that the nation i asked the trade agreement has no space for me to trade with. What's up with that? i don't get it?

Remember you gotta turn on show hidden and system files option on in order to see "Appdata" folder in the first place.

In my Russian campaign, I tried to hold the peace with France while fighting the Ottomans. I did this for four years untill France invaded. I had a huge battle near Moscow where I lost 5000 men (4 full armies). The winter really pushed him back, and now I have a World War, and Austria and Poland have turned into massive killing fields where several thousand men die every turn. So far this has been the most fun of any total war game. The historical accuracy was also much better than empire...

Russia and Britain are the easyest campains, with the russian campain you only have the enemy comming from one side, and with britain it's realy unlikely that enemys come to the iland.

Russia is not easy on VHVH. The Ottomans in the south push hard, the French landed in Crimea and moved to Belgograd, and there is so much room in Russia I had a huge problem killing off the French armies, for they all went for Moscow. Britain, however, is probably really easy like you said.

@FreakyShow95 Wasn't a proper war. look at the troop numbers in every British conflict :P the Brits weren't trying, do you want to know why? because the British had a much more valueable resource system coming from India in the form of Spices and Jewelry. America had it's coal and iron quarries. But the people incharge of Britain saw the inevitable friendship between Britain and America. Because we are literally brothers and sisters and cousins.

@MrMobsterking Learn your history will you? The Americans got involved because the British tipped them off about Germany forming alliances with Mexico and Japan to strike America while they carried on their campaign in Europe.
Britain had already defeated the german invasion on there country by this point and that was the turning point of the war. Don't think they did it out of the kindness of their heart it was to save there own ass.

@BUFFTHEDOCTOR Rubbish, the main part of the war was like cat and mouse play, the Vietnamese hide in the forest and among the civilian, setting trap and making ambush while the American dropped bombs everywhere and hope it catched them. Such thing like major engagement almost never occurs because "if both go full force against each other, Vietnamese army would be wiped out in 2 hours" ( quoted from a Vietnamese general). American lost because they fought against not an army but a whole country.

Hitler thought himself a military genius after the Battle of France in May-June 1940, even though he was clearly a maniac. Opening up a second front on the Soviet Union=fail.
To say someone with the military genius and intellect of Napoleon invaded Russia purely for conquest is an insult to common sense. The Russian court was howling for war and prodding Tsar Alexander to defeat the "Anti-Christ" Napoleon.

See, I know you know almost nothing about the Napoleonic Era when all you mention is the invasion of Russia, and none of the Coalition wars. Napoleon was always attacked, not the other way around. Hitler intentionally attacked Poland, Scandinavia, Western Europe. He killed because he wanted to. Napoleon killed because he was forced to by reactionary European monarchs.

No, he wanted to unite a Europe that had been destroyed by revolutions and wars. Unlike Hitler, who wanted to exterminate entire peoples, Napoleon wanted to unify those people into a common European political system. French was already the dominant language of Europe at that time. Europe had progressed considerably, both in the enforcement of the blockade and the unification of currencies, weights, and measures, and legislation.

I recommend Napoleon and Hitler: A Comparative Biography by Desmond Seward. Napoleon was demonized as much as Hitler when he was sent off to St Helena. But he had 6 years to give his side of the story there. Hitler didn't have that luxury. And there is more to Hitler than Jew Hating (although that's a good part of his character)

I have read it, and while it is an interesting analysis, I still do not believe Napoleon was as evil as Hitler was. Hitler was personally responsible for 40 million deaths. He willingly attacked most of Europe. Napoleon was forced by European monarchs who would put down the "democratic plague" that was France to wage war.
I must ask though: do you know of ANY of Napoleon's campaigns that isn't Russia, Waterloo, or Trafalgar?

Aside from all the ridiculous "similar" things between them, there is one glaring difference.
Hitler wanted to destroy entire cultures. He wanted to prove that the German Aryan Race was destined to dominate Europe and exterminate the Eastern Europeans or make them as serfs.
Napoleon did not want to exterminate any race, he did not want to prove the French were a superior race. He wanted to spread the ideals of the Revolution to the Continent and make a united, democratic, federal Europe.

I would hope you would actually look at the reasons why wars are won and lost. We lost vietnam because political interest was to pull out. The South lost the Civil War because the North was able to manufacture weapons for the Union and the south was not. Britain lost because they did not have political nor economic support to continue the war.
