Vipan ji i had never heard this beautiful song of Lata ji.Thanks for sharing it.You must be knowing that Lata ji loved to sing for Nargis,Madhu Bala and Meena Kumari the most.With respect. Sarla.
Those three stars were of course at the summit. I also read that Lataji thought her voice fit Saira Bano's most closely, and that in miming songs Nutan came the closest to her vocals. So each star brought something special to Lataji's songs.I have sometimes wondered how she felt about singing for Nanda, who is related to her, and about Waheeda Rehman, who has remained a friend to her.
