Marlies are awesome in the AHL standings, while the baby Sens are mediocre.

People who say the Sens have great depth are wrong. Alfredsson and Heatley gone, and the Sens suck right now. Oh well. Not my problem ;)

It's strange, though! Because they ARE deep. I think it's just that when they lose their top line, despite their depth, the whole team dynamic gets out of whack. Like Fisher, Volchenkov, Vermette...thats a talented team.

I agree with Hawter, and even if the leafs did make the playoffs, they would lose right away anyways. The trade deadline is coming up soon, so we should be starting to see some trades soon.

This team doesn't need to be completely blown up, but getting a top 5 pick would really help us in the future. At this point it is obvious that the leafs wont make the playoffs. What I think will happen is that they will make a great run and finish 9th, miss the playoffs and get a crappy draft pick.
