i find this boss easier as the bullets aren't as fast as reimu's...

but FUCK those small horizontal moving star bullets that appear on the first spellcard. (i hate non-vertical bullets, even the diagonal ones are a pain in the ass, I HATE THEM AKHSKDHASKJL)

I like how ZUN remixed 'Love-Colored Magic' here. Marisa's first boss theme on the PC-98 is also her first boss theme on the Windows era (on terms of game release dates)

@hydrablast13666 mario is for kiddies who are just starting into gaming and platform games are the easier, this is a bullet hell danmaku(FFUUUU) it is the major league in pro-gaming as it requires LOTS of replays to actually beat it (on normal, don't even think about lunatic) because it requires tons of skills and knowing where the enemy positioning and bullets will land depending on what area are you, yesh this game is old-school epic. (on japanese state of course)

@roman6a Mario isn't for kids, and the difficulty of the early games as well as certain pieces of objectionable content prove that. Sure, it's nowhere near as difficult as Touhou, but it's not for kids.

@machomuu talking about the newer ones, yes the older ones were harder (specially SMB 1 if you din't use the warp pipes) but the new ones are just easier and more kid-friendly... kinda... also games are for kids AND adults, everyone can play them but only the best of the best can finish them.

@roman6a Of course they're for kids and adults in most cases, I meant it's not made to be a kids game, or rather, a gae specifically for kids. The thing is, gaming as a whole has become mainstream, and because of this most devs make games easier. It's seriously hard to find games like those on the NES whose longevity came from their difficulty like Megaman, Mario, and Ninja Gaiden. That's the good thing about Touhou, because it's not mainstream it can be as difficult it wants.
