God has Brought her From a Mighty Long way and Changed her Life she is Truely a Blessing from God !! I Wish that she was My Daughter She is so Sweet.

  • aficans shouldn't get guns :S

  • @topbluffa1 Your level of stupidity knows no bounds.

  • So tragic:'(

  • Its all fine to have international criminal courts against chief soldiers but how about those supplying guns in gongo and other countries at war? These guns are not made in congo but in foreign lands and somebody is responsible for supplying amunitions knowing very well that its used for war! Are those free to go on walking this earth unscaved?

  • @cryonyits07done its funny too because the biggest gun runners on this Earth go as follows USA, Russia, China, i couldve mixed up the last 2, but the States clearly dominates this category. They just don't make it obvious to the world that they're doing it.

  • Even though she was a kid at the time, this woman will one day be held accountable for what she did.. Like it or not, everyone is responsible for their own actions. By her own admission, she killed a lot of people.

  • @eviltreemonster but it was during War. If people came into your village, town, city and started killing everyone, wouldn't you want to defend your lands? I sure as hell would, I'm not gonna let random soldiers pillage and rape everything I know. You'd have to be mentally retarded to let people do that to you. You clearly are.

  • so if i force you to kill people it will be your fault?

  • @eviltreemonster so what are you saying? I'm wondering if you have tried to put yourself in her position.

  • It's just nations expressing their Kulture. Who are we to judge them?

    /end sarcasm

  • Thank you for posting this, Tim. Wonderful photography, shooting, eye.... We need more windows to the world. Where was this broadcast?

  • Thanks, Lisa.

This was shot in the Congo and in Manhattan. It was broadcast on the Al Jazeera English program, "People and Power."

  • wish there would be an easier way to change congo

  • Very well done, guys!

  • wow, this was really well done. Some great b-roll footage also.

  • Very sad account of the hopelessness experienced by young women and men in lawless Africa. Unbelievable how some nations still oppose an arms treaty. The on location photography was nothing short of magnificent. Very well put together too Tim.

  • That was great. Very interesting piece. Much different than my upbringing in Toledo.

  • Which part was unlike Toledo?

  • In Toledo there were a lot more androids.

  • well said, well said.
