I was fucking happy when i got starfox assult for gc i thought it was the shit, great graphics and gameplay did remind me of lylatwars (i live in europe so it was called lylat wars)

There is a secret intro, here's how.

Fire up Star Fox 64. Then go into training mode and pause, and press R. Your cursor should be turned off. Then exit training, and watch the intro.

Yesterday, while I was trying to get my 8-year-old friend (who I babysit) into the Nintendo 64 I gave him a choice of games he wanted to play and he chose Star Fox 64 so this is the first game he's ever played on his life. And I'm really happy that he loves this game.

This game was epic. Easily the best rail shooter I have ever played. I don't know how, but it's still entertaining. The only way they could have made it better is if the levels were far longer, or there were several stages on each planet (since planets are not just one strip of land). I never got to play Assault, but I always wanted to.

I still have not seen compelling evidence that Slippy is male in this game.
