  • @cibermato Thanks a lot for your comment; I'm glad that you liked it!

  • i like your bass sound what amp ,and bass do you have,

  • @jbelmaestro This particular video was recorded using my Alembic Essence. Onstage, I normally use an EBS Gorm 300 combo or a Fender Bassman head.

I never mike the amps for recording videos. Instead, I inject the sound of the bass into the computer using my Boss GT-6B pedal board.

You can find further information about my rig and gear on the credits at the end of each video and in the description of my channel, that you can reach by clicking on any of the BadFad2008 links in this page.

  • Excellent series...fun to listen to and informative...how can I get backing tracks?

  • Thanks a lot for watching my videos.

As for the backing track, I made this one by rendering it from a MIDI file with a set of software synthesizers.

There is a bunch of backing tracks out there, but most of them are set for guitarists or for singers. It is indeed difficult finding backing tracks for bass, that's why I end up setting most of them out of MIDI files.

You could also use a karaoke track or a backing track for guitar, getting rid of the bassline with an equalizer.
