Or you could just pull the red tip off of a normal cap gun, then put bbs in the end of the revolver in it and when the caps fire the bbs will shoot out. It works okay but not great

It (quite obviously) uses the explosive decompression of the cap to propel the projectile forwards, pretty much like in a real gun.

Only difference here is that the bullet has been "separated" into tip and powder.

@stupidmonkey917 No because even though that wooden stock looks expensive it not shit head, When you have wood (Something you consider really nasty) you can cut that stock out easy if you have a saw. and the cap gun is 1 fucking dollar, and the piping he used is about a total of maybe MAYBE 10 dollars. and the the clamp thing he took apart and used probably costed (if you don't already have one) 2 dollars.. A est. total of $13, compared to a real one that probably shoots a lower fps for $799

it detonates the cap, the small explosion make a lot of hot gases which expand, forcing the bb out of the cylinder and the the barrel. Tip for gun making dude: try and make the barrel the same size as the bb (well a little bit wider) and somehow seal the gap between the cylinder and the barrel. It will shoot MUCH MUCH farther and accurate!

He reload it like a normal cap gun, just that he cuts the caps and only uses the opper hole because he glued the cap gun magazine thing to his gun. you could try to take the whike cap gun mechanism so you had atleast 8 shots. (caps have 8 shots in my country but also they make the holes so small that no bb can fit it and if you drill it you can only drill every second hole because the well is very thin and would be gone if you drilled everything.)
