It is because they are basically using stuff that is meant for loud and powerful sound that fills everything around the club, a Logitech $100 can not reach any power to even compare to a club system! it probably sounds like it maybe cause your in a much smaller room and it's probably close or againist the wall? put that same exact sub you have in the area where the clubs are and you will notice a big difference. not put a large PA speaker in your house and watch everything break and fall down cause of room acoustics and reflections off the walls are much more aggressive in smaller rooms.

The large 6" voice coil isn't necessary either, you can get that power out of a 4" it would just take so many more winds on the coil. And the Xmax is off the charts, with all that Xmax it probably sounds like shit probably just sounds airy, You'll hear about 150db's of port nosie and maybe 20db of bass if your lucky.
