  • Nice vid -always like seeing the juice train! Thumbs up!

  • damn.. that line came highballing through there on its way to brandenton.

  • This train was northbound

  • That was a fast Juice Train.

  • NICE.

do these trains ever come up into canada?

    thats some nice freight graffiti..!

  • Not that I know of.

  • i dont think tropicans/TPIXs go to canada but some ARMN and BNFEs those are what we call reefers becuase of their refrigeration units on the end. they are high priority which means they travel long distances in short amounts of time becuase the costumer demand for them. their priority and typically smooth white panels are what make them so reveared among graffiti artist. so expect to see some the best pieces on them from some of the best artists around north america!

  • Thats sick man! Yea painting those cars must be real fun, just make sure you don`t go over the numbers or anything. The best artists are usually in CA. And then you got Myst and Spok in BC who are really talented.

  • Our short lines and Reginal RRs are starting to suffer becuse they are being snapped up by class 1 RRs and have minimal revenue. Now dont let some BUSH GOP ass wipe lie to you and tell you that our economy is doing well, thats just not true at all. We have to pray for a Democratic president this coming election. Our country is on the brink of total collapse with Busheconomics. Pray for Obama to win and hope that Hillary is on the VP spot.

  • I disagree, The powder river basin and southern coal are being shipped out (exported) at alarming rates by NS and CSX at there ports to China and Europe. Ok, what is happening they are taking our coal (our dollar is weak) and selling it for HUGE profits and the Chinics or I mean Commies or I mean China is using it to make steel products. Both RRs are in the midst of the lottery as long as the coal keeps coming out of the ground for them.

  • It's all about supply and demand. Exporting goods is perfectly acceptable in a market economy like ours. If the US was instead importing coal, it would simply mean that the world price is lower than the domestic price for coal. The Bush administration has nothing to do with these economics, and to blame President Bush for the current economic situation is simply ignorant, and rather shallow.

  • Yea, you guys arent kidding! Busheconomics! NAFTA and the global economy. FEROMEX-UP TFM-KCS. Hope our great railroads can survive another half year of Bush giving all our economy to China, Mexico and Canada! Everyday more and more American jobs are going away and people sit there and like FEROMEX and TFM!? and shop at Wall Mart? Love our Country BUY UNION BUY AMERICAN AND SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

  • Well since overall freight volume is up, and has been for years, I don't think we have much to worry about.

  • Great stuff! When everything seems to be imploding in the US, it's great to see freight still being moved like this. Lovely sequence, thanks.

  • Is it coming from FL or Brazil these days?

  • As far as the train itself, it originates in Florida. But I don't know about the juice inside and where it comes from.

  • This train is now know at CSX as Q-740, Bradenton, FL to Greenville, NJ, and its southbound counterpart Q-741

  • Origin is Brandon, Florida. I think most of the juice comes from Florida's own Orange trees. They have a big facility down there for orange juice production.

  • Q740 originates in Bradenton FL.

  • Bob, I meant Bradenton, I don't know why I typed Brandon, totally different locations.

  • Good catch on the Juice Train!

  • Pardon the expression but that's a lot of fuckin oranges lol

  • Yea, it's kind of hard to fathom THAT much juice moving at one time

  • lol tell me about it, the bright side is at least if the conductor gets thirsty he doesn't have to shake it up first haha

  • On a side note, each 50 to 55 car train has the capacity to haul around 2.4 million 64 oz. cartons of OJ.

  • *cries* I love orange juice... why must you taunt me like this!

  • The Blurriness is not that bad. Great Video!
