it was great, quite funny but for a more professional work you should do some research on how bullets work, you got it wrong (you animated it flying with the casket on, when you fire a gun the pwder inside the casket blows up shooting the tip, the casket falls out and only the tip of the bullet goes out the cannon) aside from that particular totally irrelevant detail great job XD

I very much enjoyed this piece. It actually aired lated last night on ARTE in Germany, probably in France, Switzerland and Austria aswell. I could really see this "Chicken Cowboy" running on Comedy Central or Cartoon Network. Perhaps our beloved chicken can travel in time to fight new foes in each episode. The cat, possibly my favorite character, can make henchman cameos in every episode. Just an idea. Keep up the great work!

The new format is okay. I like the idea of animators presenting their cartoons, but I hardly see Carl anymore. The only time we get to see him now is in the voicemail section. I need more Carl in my life. Oh well. At least the cartoons are still good, and Cartoon Hangover still has the old format. Keep up the good work.

Really great story and all... I really liked all the little mix-ups, the squeaky cat and the horse that sounded like a dog... Good detail and all in all a beutiful piece of work!

If I was your advisor at NYU I would have... given you a mediocre grade. I mean, I wouldn't FAIL you, it's not that bad. But the work just looks so amateur, the only scene I liked was the star and bullet flying through the air, it seemed like the only thing you actually worked hard on.

Also, your story is confusing and pointless to the overall theme of the work- the chicken doesn't want to fight, so why does he fight at the end? It's obvious student work, and I certainly wouldn't hire you.

I wasn't being a dick head, just because a bunch of teenagers on youtube like it doesn't mean it's good. I actually saw this at the original screening and didn't like it then, either. I'm actually a professional art reviewer, so perhaps you should think before you judge. Why don't you compare this derivative nonsense to something actually great like Permedi's "Kiwi!" or Osbourne's "More". You'll see quite a difference.

It's just personal attacks that have nothing to do with the film itself. What was the point of that comment? Did the animator intro his film with "Please hire me?" No. It's one thing to think that the work looks amateur or "confusing" or that you had problems with the plot. These are all valid critiques...

I am a critic not a film maker, why would I have uploads? I write for a publication, I have no need to make films. My personal taste in what I favorite also has absolutely nothing to do with my professional opinions. I like video games, and my master's thesis (in short) is actually on the plausibility of video games being regarded as a form of fine art.
