  • Fucking awesome

  • As a dedicated musician, wouldn't you agree that all music deserves to be appreciated, even if you don't like it? Sure, I wouldn't listen to this every day. I do like the guy's voice (There are other more whiney singers, IE. The Mars Volta).

I respect everything and listen to everything. Because if a band says "I think that this is so good that I'll put my name on it and let the world criticize it" then they deserve a listen. Respect all music if you're going to call yourself a true musician.

  • alright...1 i didnt look up the video someone sent it to me to show me how shitty it was...and two yess my nuts rubbing on my leg does sound pretty good,

guy sounds like elmo had his vocal cords cut, snorted 4 grams of coke then super glued his throat back up and started whineing to a track that was shitty to begin with. My downsyndrome-gay neighbor doesnt even like it,and hes a cool cat. BOOM

    Peace

  • Their music kinda reminds me of the

Groovie Ghoulies. I'm sure he's spun their records once or twice.

  • sounds like tmbg; don't lie.

  • I disagree totally, but that was hilarious.XD

  • very funny. I love how you say gosh darnit. But I love this band and totally disagree.

  • if you don't like it...why did you take the time to look their music up on youtube and coment on how you don't like it when you could just listen to your nuts rubbing against your leg all day, if that's the kind of music you're into, i mean people like you make me so gosh darn mad >:(

  • I'm looking sooo forward to seeing them in Kansas City on Thursday!!!!

  • to puffyfan2: i hope you survived the storm in kc & have a great time at the show tonight! i'm seeing them at blueberry hill in st. louis tomorrow night...where are they playing in kc?

  • Well, as you know now, they were forced to cancel KC, so I came out to St. Louis to see them, and it was GREAT! I met Rob and the band, they were SO nice, I decided to see them in Columbia, too! It was the BEST TRIP EVER!!

  • you're right puffy, that was one hell of a performance the apples put on in the "duck room". that was only the second time i've been to a show there; the other one was the silver jews several months ago, also fantastic. how did the columbia show compare? i lived there most of my life, so the blue note is where i've seen the vast majority of all my concerts.

  • The Columbia show was great too, although not as interactive, except there was a big film festival in town including the Blue Note that forced the Apples to accelerate the performance. They couldn't even do an encore. But it was GREAT seeing and meeting them.

  • BTW, did you hear the guy in back pushing "Signal in the Sky?" That was me! I later asked Rob why they didn't play it, and to make a long story short, he told me they just aren't able to play that song live. So I didn't push it in Columbia. We were both happy!

  • Cool Man how did it feel

  • Please don't tell me Elijah was the director of this music video too! This looks like something that came out of his head.

  • top of the tops

  • amazing lo fi

  • maybe they have some kind of modulator hooked up to the mic?

  • if they(he) speeds his voice up for recording, how can that be duplicated live, don't get me wrong tone soul evolution is one of my favs, but it would seem to tough to duplicate that helium sound we love so.

  • Maybe they actually use helium when they go live, lol.

  • yaaaaaaaaaaa i love you

  • Apples in Stero... My favorite pop band on earth.

The guitar guy plays with Dressy Bessy too.

  • a great band, I wish they'd tour more. Like come to Chicago once in awhile.....

  • i remember the making of this video in lexington ky. the police even set up an escort for the go-karts!
