Paul is even more politically two-faced than most. He tags earmarks to bills he knows will pass, votes no then says "I've never voted for an earmark in my life." Then says "It's like taking a tax credit." What a hack! Then he wants to impose term limits and is willing to stay in office until they are enacted. He wants to eliminate personal income tax then to cover the trillion dollars in lost revenue basically proposes to dismantle the military. Ron Paul is not right the lead our country.
he has to make a choice between the money going to earmarks to his district or the money going to the federal government to do all sorts of illegal and/or immoral things.
Paul was definatly right about the Civil war issue, not only did 600,000 Americans die, but because the Union did not compensate the farmers who bought the Slaves, these farmers lost all the capital they had. Mind you that there was not mechanical machinery, so they were not able to tend the farms. This is the REASON they went to war in the first place... just like today, to protect their investments!
I've lost a lot of respect for Tim after this interview. Dr. Ron Paul did a great job defending the american folks. What is wrong with these journalists? Don't they want our country to get better? For improvement to occur, change is needed. Elect anyone else and it will be the same old circus, just different clowns.
Non one with any common sense is going to vote for someone with these views. I mean 'exposed' by the extreme positions that he will not volunteer to the voters, this damaging information has to be drawn out in the open by journalists like Tim Russert. Calling Ronald Reagan a 'failure' and a 'traitor' is inexcusable. but it's only one instance of the bizarre views of this candidate.
Watch my video EXPOSING BILL KRISTOL THE SCUMBAG who called Ron Paul Anti-American !!!
just by clicking my name!
Kristol who never served in the US army and works for foreign Israeli secret organizations has the nerve to call a Vietnam veteran and a 10-term US congressman anti-American
It's so amusing that the representation from texas is placing the blame for the civil war on lincoln! He naively puts out the idea the compensated emancipation would solve the conflict. As if it wasn't tried and rejected by the south. Lincoln did it in D.C., so there goes the idea that lincoln was unreasonable and iron fisted. The south were the one that were unreasonable they stated the war. But the lost the war and in Ron Pauls eyes, I guess that absolves them of their sins.
There is much more to history than what the official expositors of public education wants you to know. judge Andrew Napolitano of Fox News holds the same position Ron Pauls holds on the history of the civil war.
I am SOO impressed with Dr Paul and his honest and consistent replies to Mr Russert. The theme I saw in this interview was that Russert focussed on silly trivialities rather than on substance, accurately representing the shallow state of most American voters. In reply, Ron Paul answered all substance all the time. Btw, I'm glad Russert had the respect to throw hard balls and I'm more dedicated to Dr Paul's campaign than I was before seeing this.
This is a ridiculous interview. Tim Russert is such a petty man. He tried to make Ron Paul look bad by mentioning distorted reports about what Ron Paul said or did, or that others working for him did 10-15 years ago. WHAT A JOKE!
The mainstream media is really scared of Ron Paul. Look how desperate they are to dig up dirt on him. This is great! Nothing can stop the truth. Not even the establishment media like Fox, CNN, NBC, ABC, etc.
Tim Russert is a political hack. He tried to force Ron Paul into holding contradictory positions that didn't exist. What a joke! Don't trust the establishment media. They obviously see Ron Paul as a threat and really really want to smear him.
ron paul is the ultimate hypocrite

This is devastating. Ron Paul exposed! Too bad, seems like nice guy. He'll go down as another Ross Perot, or republican Howard Dean!

Ron Paul is way beyond the threshold, where Ross Perot and Howard Dean left off. Heck, Howard Dean was just a Whimper comparing to RP.

reporters are so used to the unintelligent candidates that they must be amazed that Ron Paul can answer these questions

Why is Tim Russert trying to hurt Ron Paul, he has yet to comment on anything positive with Ron Paul, and, what is Positive, Tim tries to reverse.
