I think that this model just doesn't have a hood scoop. I'm sure it is an option that one can have on their mustang though. I have seen them with a hood scoop, although I'm not sure if it is functional or not.

I presume that is the "Coyote" engine which may end up in the Australian Ford Falcon too, in the FPV range at least.

The engine sounds great and the car looks fantastic.

I've wanted to get a new Mustang since this style came out in 2005. If I get one of the 2011 models, they will have to do one thing before I take it off the lot. Take off those tacky 5.0 chrome plastic emblems. I took them off the 88, 89, and 91 Mustangs I bought. I thought they looked ugly 20 years ago. It seems like Ford could have produced a better looking one by now.
