  • Wow another study that shows what Dog owners have known for years.

  • The end just brought a huge smile to my face.

  • Mutate them so they become human :D

  • @XeenWoozy so i can love them like I love my men

  • @sisuo2 for sure

  • Thumbs up for Neil Degrasse Tyson!

  • This makes me smile.

  • It's because chimps are fucking smart. Also dogs aren't wild, they are highly domesticated.

  • No, my dog Sammie was a German Shepherd/Labrador mix and she could get the toys I asked ther to get. Hedgehog, ball, bone, etc. Also, she knew certain people's names and I would ask where's Papa, or where's George, she would go to the place in the house where that person would come in most of the time, side door or back door. Also, where's our daughter or my husband she would go to them. Go see papa, she would go to that person. Go see mama, etc. Now my black lab is learning this too.

  • @mrschrisc My dog is half Akita and he knows all that stuff too. Dogs are such fun animals. Now if only my cat had such a nice attitude towards learning new stuff. :)

  • not all dogs can do that only this breed

  • This video gets a like just because Neil Degrasse Tyson is involved.

  • That dog is smart and Dr.Tyson is great! you rarely see adults showing such genuine warmth and curiosity towards an animal, very nice.

  • "Well I got you the fucking toy, now play with me!"

  • Dogs have lived with humans for over 20,000 years, it would be surprising if they hadn't picked up some human abilities. What would REALLY be surprising would be a full-blooded wild wolf that could do that.

  • @megabigblur Apparently wolves are smarter than dogs, they can communicate with each others and are better than dogs at solving problems on their own while dogs have learnt to seek human help to resolve problems. If you ever had a dog you will realize they will constantly look back at you for clues on what to do when confronted with a problem, while they are not so good at communicating with other dogs. But dogs are pretty smart anyway.

  • @derpestarzt

While wolves might be smarter than dogs, you have yet to see a wolf fully cooperating with a human. Besides, it's the same species, different subspecies.

  • @AntonUralskiy And why would a wolf 'want' to cooperate with a human? they can do well for themselves. Also nobody said wolves and dogs are different species.

  • @derpestarzt Lol to why a wolf would want to cooperate with a human. Its actually an extremely successful evolutionary strategy considering any species humans don't actively 'like' (eg dolphins, dogs, cats, squirrels) are relentlessly killed and stripped of their habitat. Humans dominate the earth and I would venture most big dogs are more 'ft' today than wolves.

  • @ds2207 That's retarded, that's like saying that remoras are smarter than wolves because they have to work less for their food, they just stick to the sharks belly and wait until he does all the work. The fact that just by doing that they can survive makes it that they don't have to develop any intelligence, wolves in the other hands, unlike dogs, can resolve problems on their own, ergo, they are smarter than dogs in terms of pure problem resolving skills.

  • @derpestarzt No, not smarter, more evolutionarily fit. Remoras might be, too; choosing to live off of sharks isn't a bad life. Sharks were one of the first animals to evolve and have remained relatively unchanged for hundreds of millions of years. It is unlikely that anything humans do the seas will kill off sharks while wolves may find themselves relegated to zoos if Canada chooses to develop some of their forests.

  • @ds2207 Ok, we are talking about different things, have a good day.

  • Lame

  • This surprises none of us that have worked in rescue for years. Glad that others are learning just what intelligent beings dogs are. We know why we spend all our spare time and money saving dogs....They feel pain, fear, and loneliness just like we do. They give so much in return and they need and deserve our protection.

  • Border Collies are not from Scotland!...they are from Northumberland...which is in ENGLAND

  • I love Dr. Tyson. He's so mind-blowingly brilliant that he could murder you in a battle of wits and you won't even know it....and yet is so down-to-earth to get down on the floor and roll with a doggy! :)

  • People who like this dog should check out "Nissa the Border Collie"

  • I love how he just plays with the dog on national television at the end, there.

  • @alexanderbrooksify I know, that was so cute oh my god

  • Neil Degrasse Tyson is the coolest guy ever.

  • 2-3 words is average for a dog?

  • i want this dog. not only is she smart, she's a beauty :))

  • awwww what a cute doggy

  • WOW

  • Just too much !!! Oh love them. Thank God for them!

  • this is cool

  • I love this dog. If you do not have a Border Collie is just an ordinary dog. revelation

  • @webartititu Damn striaght.

  • The reporter is an idiot..."What the animal mind can do"...Humans are animals douche...Get your grammar right when you're on international television please.

  • @sekamenacerecords1 techically yes but c'mon. what else is he supposed to say. "all animals except humans." to me, criticizing a person for a mistak (which in my opinion is not) so insignificant is douchier

  • Chaser is brilliant. We have a Border Collie--and she is the most intelligent dog we have ever had. We love her so much!!!

  • 2:43 "WHO THE FUCK?"

  • @Minecrafterz who would have thought

  • the dog is smarter than the people in the video... LOL

  • @nyspace1 Apparently you dont know who Neil Degrasse Tyson is ....

  • @marocainaujapon I KNOW WHO HE IS.I ment by proportion size of brain, think of how large our brain is compaired to the dog. think of how smart the dog could be if he had the same size of brain as us.

  • @nyspace1 Intellect is not relative to the size of a brain.

  • hi

  • @Sonny18x hi

  • @Gtafq hey

  • @Sonny18x hello
