Gangsters 1 was the best!!! Just kept buying up buildings and bribing someone new every week. I got into moving businesses around and creating districts... making my own town... it could be played on so many levels!!!! Eidos should keep everything the same...update the software and reissue the game as a Classic!! ( I wasn't too impressed with2 after the freedom of 1 )

not true. i still play diablo2 on my vista. you rigth taht vista dont suport manny games. but patches fix this. if you try youl find out you can play most games on vista

Uross I which that they did make a gangsters 3 because I really like the voice over and the nick names of the hired goons the newspaper stories yada yada yada. I just which it was a little bit more modern looking and much more adult and I really hated losing a good man like a bomber or a good car driver that really pissed me off and I replayed the mission over if I had given a good man all kinds of points and lost him. Here's hopping they'll make 3 just for fun Bada-bang!

I have two compuets ya see, an old windows 98 computer and a fairly new computer with Windows XP. I dont think it works on XP, but it should. If you check the back of the box it will say what it runs on.

i have vista and it works fine but the thing is I cant input this cheat that would allow me to have 255 hoods when the game starts. The cheat only works for 98 and 95. Thats what pissess me off

I played Gangsters2 all the way to the end. I thought it took way to fking long. One of my biggest problems was it was taking like 7 hours a night to get done with a few missions and I felt it was really screwing me up but it was fun. I think the online thing if it isn't populated than it probably doesn't work.

i just installed it on vista and used the xp/vista patch to get it working, but the colours are messed up, does anyone know how to fix it?

it's good. but tons of flaws. could never work out how to bribe the right judge person.

you can download patches that fixes that problem. Howver there are still some flaws but nothing major.

after patching your lawyer will automaticly bribe the right judge and receive info on snitches and so on.

THIS GAME WAS INCREDIBLE!

No game better then this! The sequel was very bad tho, it sucked big time. I truly hope they will ever re-make this game but dont change to much. Only graphical and some more things. Unable to play it since Vista... used to play it until last year. XP didn't had to much problems running it. Anyone knows a patch? Please pm me then! Thanks!

if they put in the option of skirmish matches in gangsters 2 it would have been awesome i think.

Problem with gangsters 1 is that there isnt enough options when starting a game. Should be able to choose how many opponents and where to place your starting office and so on.

one of the best games ever to me :)..if only they can make a 3rd game with a mix of 1 and 2, in part 1 u feel like you had more control in what your doing..proper management game building a evil empire..part 2 was good the way it was sort of real time going from night to day but felt more role playing and had to follow a story line..i thought the 1st was better though but never seemed to kidnap some1, really ticked me off...tried loads of times.. :( but still what a game!!!

Vista is for solitaire only. Nothing works on it, except Micro$ofts own programs and games. Uninstall that crap and get XP instead.

no i just use have a vista and play tons of games i use a dosbox for my old ones and they work great except for eldeer scrolls arena runs super slow

Every game I own works fine on Vista, and that includes the games I need Dosbox to run. There is nothing wrong with Vista, and it is just as good as XP.

You may need to run those games in DOSBox or set the Compatibility Mode to an earlier version of Windows if they are Windows games. Worms World Party might run in 98/ME/XP Compatibility Mode.
