I just bought two new Audix Tom Mics! They sound great! what brand do you use? They sound pretty good but when you mix it lay off on the bass drum other than that it sounds great!

You can make any toms sound half decent..Just get some good heads (remo, evans or aquarian), tune them properly and maybe add some dampening (moon gels, duct tape)

Well done indeed. I actually quite like the bass drum sound. (A bass drum doesn't need to sound exactly like a bass drum ; it just needs to sound good). Are those Zildjian DIP drum sticks ? If they are I would like your opinion on them.
