so what is good for him is that may not be good to some one else

First , do you think that a person is a Good person if his/her Mother for example did all what she can to help him/her and raise him/her , then s/he never call her or even recognize her help, of course not , no matter how nice that person is, that is the reason why there is a sanction.

@misscandlelight444 Two , in Islam there is a philosophical debate whether Hell is eternal or not , and the strongest opinion is that its not, and here the genius of Islam and the Koran appears my friend. read thses verses carefully from Surat Albayynah

@misscandlelight444 here do you notice the difference , its a specification that is inferred in a negative way not a positive way, the specification is the those in heaven , that they will have Kholoud , which means that they dont die, FOREVER , but this addition was not made for those who will be in hell, they will have Khloud which means that they wont die in hell , but , they wont stay forever.

@misscandlelight444 the same method is used also in another Surah , which provide a proof that hell isnt eternal , but heaven is. however this subtle method of negative specification is used for a reason, its because people may turn slakers if they felt that hell isnt eternal and satisfy with life since there is no doubt about this life , its not a belief that you can have pleasures in el Dunya , so that is why its not mentioned in a direct way. hope this answers you and i have more if u want

fear Allah this is well accepted among scholars that hel is eternal

Thus Allaah will show them their deeds as regrets for them. And they will never get out of the Fire”

“They will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom; and theirs will be a lasting torment”
