Can't wait till they repeal Prohibition II if somebody comes up to me and asks me "They're thinking of repealing prohibition, what will you do then?" and my response will be, I think I'll have a Xanax.
I never forgot when I first watched this movie in 1987.......such a memorable, fantastic and superb mafia movie......and till now, I never forget "the odessa step" of this great movie.......what an amazing moment!
This movies my Shit! First saw it at age 7, I used to Quote the Jim Malone/George Stone Initiation suquence word for word with my Dad! Excellent Video works really well with the Requeim Music!
im gonna watch this in my history class soon and all i wanted was some simple seens of what it was about! Sorry if im being a pain but next time you do something like this please say if this has spoilers!!!
God knows I LOVE Requiem for a Dream to pieces, and also its wonderful, powerful soundtrack. But The Untouchables is one of the greatest movies I've ever watched, and it can never be without Ennio Morricone's epic music. BUT your vid is cool though :)
Its rubbish ness didnt bring capone down he did little more than stage a few public raids. ness in reality ness did not meet capone and he didnt throw frank the enforcer nitti off a roof .for the actual story watch al capone 1959 with rod steiger thats the true story of scarface
Great and classic movie ! If I have to compare this movie with "Once upon a time of America", I like it the most as it has the postive face of values with the strong sense of Justice.
@Wateland70 You're right, those 'Men of Respect' do not deserve respect. I'm disgusted by how the adults and my fellow children eye these gangsters with almost hero worship as heroes like Giuseppe Petrosino, Fiorello LaGuardia and Remo Franceschini become footnotes in history books. Media has glorified mobsters as things they are not and neglected the people who actually did great things.
@wasteland70 Compared to other people, Ness didn't do very much, something he admits (he still has my admiration). Capone is in the same situation; his reign was only about 3 years. Frank Costello and Giuseppe Morello were both more frightening and terrible people. That is not to say that Ness is not a hero and that Capone is not horrible.
Amazing. The best movie with a wonderful song that is suitably dramatic. You combined them to make a video that made my jaw drop in amazement. Superb work; very few could top this.
The part that I feel extremely emotional was when Jim Malone died at the arms of Ness, and the part that got my blood really hot was when Ness throw that pile of shit off the roof!!!!!!!!
@yellowlynx I agree. Malone and Ness, in the film, had a father/son relationship, a mutual respect. I loved when he threw that "pile of shit" (Nitti) from the roof top. I'm a bit teary eyed right now my self!!!
What a great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it! I saw this when it came out. I was in 11th grade. Damn, I forgot how good it was! Thanks to your video I may have to visit Amazon and buy a copy!

THE UNTOUCHABLES was one of the best movies ever!! it got a perfect rating and Costner and Connery were justy excellent!! Plus Reqium of a Dream was the perfect song to put in this video!!!! Great job on this video!!
@MajorLeeScrewed No it's not, in fact it's so played out now that it seems more like people use the song to steer you away from their shitty job of editing, and lack of knowledge in trailer music matching the content of the video, with that said, Untouchables is phenomenal.

Complete bullshit. 1. They make it look like a mob flick but is a cop movie 2. It's so fake. One cop isnt going to stand still in cross fire and not get hit (the train station scene). Some of the worst acting ever (No disrepect to Robert) 1.5 stars! I want my $5 back.
It's called 'Lux Eterna' from the film Requiem for a dream. This is a remix version with a full orchestra - the original uses a string quartet I think.
Dude! This is an incredible tribute to at a classic film by Brian De Palma! Andy Garcia, Kevin Costner, Rob De Niro, Sean Connery, and more... all were great in this film; I see few flaws in this film if any at all.
One question, what is that music you used in this video? It's so good for the scenes in the film!
LOL.. the words used when the guy is pushed off the rooftop.. i have a Dutch Gabber track of that by Paul Elstak :D:D wicked track.. and this makes me wanna play Mafia :D.. and a job well done with the music..
Very nice work! Anyway, this Eliot Ness guy was a peace of cake. He was nobady for Capone, who made him stupid several times. He was figured in the Oscar (1991, Stallone) as Lt. Toomey... too bad. He was one of the writers of this movie.. too bad.
