Yes, it will be interesting to see if any of the electric motorcycle manufacturers survive, like Brammo & Zero. Not many dealers, not much if any mainstream pub. And the really are too expensive for what you get. And with electricity generation being not so green in many parts of the USA, is it really worth it at this point in time. Now if they were priced around $6,000 - $7,000, and had a solid 100 - 150 mile range, then it would be more plausible. $3.50 gas, and we're getting a Metropolitan !
A great first start, but a top range of 50 miles and top speed of 62mph? Seems underpowered to me. I'm kind of disappointed that a small EV like this doesn't have better performance.

Ok think about this: Nine thousand dollars for a scooter with a 50 mile (or less) range!
Paul, you know that a Honda PCX will get 110mpg and cost a little over $3k?! And it effectively has an unlimited range.
No wonder Vectrix went out of business.

give me $15000 and I'll build you an electric car that will get 80 miles range...that Vectrix bike is already obsolete...sorry

@cypher954 , that's an all-too-common stupid comment. It's not obsolete as long as it runs and still hauls a passenger around.

Very cool. I have the same color Vectrix. I have ridden it 900 miles so far in the first month.

Does it make much noise when charging? I noticed this one did. My condo neighbors might not appreciate that.
