That Drummer is extremely good, but I mean really good, does someone knows who he is? or where I can find more info about him, like a website or something?
Just my 2 cents. Doesn't mean much. But just wanna say I love the Lord & praise him for people like Shane and shane who share their music of worship =D
Shane & Shane are some of my favorite worship leaders. I've been to several of their concerts & I worship God. It doesn't matter who leads worship what matters is the heart of the worshipper. These 2 guys are some of the best singers out there & when I listen to them I can worship. I've also been in services where its just a piano & a hymn yet I can worship to that too cause its all about the heart of worship & if your heart is not for the heart of Jesus than how can you worship.
Seems the song is going faster and faster. Where is spirit in the song? Are they singing to showcase how good they think they are or are they show-casing the Lord Jesus Christ here?
"the professionalism is really a big hinderence to why we worship God, it makes people think, do we worship the music? or do we worship the one who created music...."
Worship isn't about professionalism, it's about God using people to worship Him, let's strip worship down to bare, and see if we can worship God with that, Matt Redman's Heart of Worship speaks about true worship....the heart of worship is all about God, and not about the music.
@extremist77 I may not be getting the full context of your comment, but we are told to do "everything as unto the Lord." Everything we do is worship. These musicians have dedicated their craft to lead others in worship as do many other musicians. Professionalism is not a bad thing unless it becomes an idol. I thank God for professional musicians who write, lead, and produce quality worship music. God deserves our best and that includes our music.
@bajojohn I remember a sermon by Mike Pilavachi from Soul Survivor where he was said that at one time he went to a revival meeting where everyone on stage, they were stunning, drop dead good-looking people, and even in their performing, they sing and play beautifully, but where are all the not-so good looking people? where are the ordinary people? When Jesus picked his disciple, did he picked them just because they looked good, or they acted like professionals?

Why can't worship be without any flashy elements? why would you need a bass solo? Is true worship meant to be glorifying the music and the musician? or is it meant to be glorifying God? I hate it when people say, it's worship, let's have a bass solo....it is a slap in the face to God when you see comments like tredger42 and sharplikecheddar2 roaming around youtube...
@extremist77 extremist77... Because I am trying really hard to only stay positive and say christian things I will correct you. I was saying that the guy on the Hi-hat is awesome. Thats why I said thats ill. It lingo slang for good job. killing it is a music term giving the utmost respect. So before you judge and attack try to read the post a little better. It would serve as a better witness
