There are two versions of this movie: 1 featuring Hollywood actors (some are Arab or Persian), the other featuring Arab-born actors. The DVD I have is the 25th Anniversary edition, and actally shows some footage of both sets of actors. I really enjoyed the movie--Anthony Quinn played Hamzam, and Michael Ansara played the merchant-leader of Mecca when it was still a Pagan city.
