@HisPresenceMedia I have the 7D too. Is that a good lense for filming video? I want something that doesn't need much focusing. Otherwise it's hard to follow a subject without going out of foucs. Thank you.
Any lens can 'not need much focusing', just make the aperture the highest number you can. And get a lens that is fairly wide, eg 15-30mm on cheaper video SLRs.
That's the cutest thing I've seen in a long time :-)

With such beautiful laugh and happiness of both the subject and the cameraman, it worth more than the money! Lovely video!

this is the only smooth flycam 3000 footage i have found after spending 2 days of research. it seams to me, that the flycam users do not practice :)

Cool. How does this compare to the 1000 or the DSLR or nano? Is it worth the extra cost?
I hear it supports more weight, but my t2i setup only weighs like 3 lbs.

Your son is very positive and you (sorry for saying this) have a sexy laugh)))

@buyxbox360dotnet
Flycam has great usage, Ie: if you're trying to get that "flying camera" look. but for everyday shooting,
like interviews or run and gun stuff, where you might need to focus the lens manually or zoom, I would get
a shoulder rig. Don't get me wrong the flycam is great, but it's use is limited because you can't touch the camera while shooting.

i just got my flycam3000 and it's not that smooth like you and all of the other people shown..
i'm using 5d mark ii with grip and 17-40 lens
and the camera is always rotating to the side,
i culibrate it but the middle is free to movment .
do you habe any sugestions?
havivelbaz 1 year ago
@havivelbaz I hold the flycam with two fingers from my left hand gently on the rotation bearing
to prevent it from rotating when running. But if it is laterally balanced right. The rotation will be minimal.
In other words, I hold it with two hands. Right hand on the handle, left hand on the bearing to prevent rotation.

Did you have the body-pod with it? How did you get the camera so low? Thanks!
JonahEpps 1 year ago
@JonahEpps no body-pad, I ran backwards while holding it low. No tricks.
