  • I'm disappointed for those people making this video. I mean everything you said maybe true about food on wedding and funeral but it's tradition yo!!! Most of HMONG food is 10% meat and 90% vege. And you just can't blame on hmong food having unhealthy food, American has fast food restaurants. I'm slim and I eat a lot, I'm not even sick nor fat. It's how you eat it and cook it. This is not HMONG community, this is more like HEALTH Community. EVERYTHING IS TRADITIONAL & CULTURE.

  • @BubaTheeAsian So, just go and eat it and wait until you're 50-60 years and then you'll find it out. Hmong food are not 90% vegetable, you're wrong! I don't know where you get that infor from...just one question for you if that's what you think: How many time did your parent eat salad? Probably not even once a year and did you watch all of our movies? Please watch it all before said it. Thanks for stopping by.

  • @TheHmongcommunity For a fact, my family mostly eat Vegetable. And, yeah, we eat a lot of salad, FYI. Probably, whoever you grow up with, probably cooked you American food instead. Well, just let you know, watching the end of this video already made my decision. IT'S Fucking Tradition and Culture. Thank You Very Much for Listening.(: And Yes I did watch it all, it's just the beginning is mostly you guys eating and the end is about where you're saying about HMONG Health.

  • @BubaTheeAsian Oh! so, just let you know that this video is not for a perfect Hmong like you! We do video base on our experiences, nobody is perfect OK! if you don't agree just say so. May I ask you, is tradition and culture is part of Hmong Community? You probably are just some Hmong hatter out that's all and you probably right because you are born with a silver spoon in you mouth, don't know what most of Hmong people eating today! need to go and do more research on Hmong life b4 any comments.

  • @TheHmongcommunity I'm sorry m'am, I've think you should redo the video then. And I never state that I'm perfect or everyone is. I'm not a hmong Hater because just that I wrote all those comment, probably someone is already offend what I say. So judgmental people these days. Sorry, I know my hmong life very well because unlike you people, don't know the difference between Tradition/Culture & Health. And you weren't even born with chopsticks in your mouth, you had a bottle in your mouth.

  • @BubaTheeAsian If you don't like our video just go and your own..

  • lots of food no wonder u all fat

  • My family don't eat as much as what you guys are eating in the video, and we don't eat fruits and bread with our meals. The reason why we are big is that we don't eat in portions. What Americans think as one serving is considered half a serving(or less) for us Hmong. My family usually steam, boil, and grill our meat. We also drain the excess grease before putting in veggies, especially if it's stirfry. Thank you for making a video like this on youtube to spread the word about being healthy. ^^

  • Also, it's the "CARBS" from consuming so much rice. Stick to proteins and vegetables and cut down on rice/carbs and red meats.

  • Chicken is a good source of protein, but yes, eating red meat is not beneficial for you.

  • I've never had bread w/ my hmong food D:

  • I <3 these! :D Make more... common!

  • You guys are awesome for making this video! Excellent job! Thank you!

  • the truth is you guys are fat and should not be telling people to eat healthy.

  • @akito123 any actor can be fat or skinning! the point of this is to teach the old how to eat better and get healthy..We can put any actor to any movies by the producer and director...if you don't agree just forget about what we said and move on to your life..

  • @akito123 Ehhh we are fat because ... you don't know us hmong people story

  • Damn no wonder why her daughter's are fat lol sooo much food LMFAO

  • dam they are some good ass actors :DDD keep it up!!!! ;)

  • white rice is not healthy.

  • Eating a lot of meat is healthy but don't overdose it. Just don't fried them, that's what makes it bad that's were u increase the Saturated fats in them, that's what cause stroke and some other effect.

  • just exercise, don't over drink alcohol, you can still be fat n healthy,

  • Shut Up! We eat what we been eating for the past 100 years! To the Looks of it, Seem like yall been eating alot of Pork cause yall look like some Pork! So if we're not suppose to eat Pork, Cow, Chicken etc. What are we suppose to Eat? Mice?

  • hey nice video but the girl suppose to help there mom..

  • This isn't even traditional hmong food. How can you people say that hmong food makes us sick and fat? I'm pretty sure genetic heritage plays a major role in people 'getting fat from eating hmong food.' I love hmong food. My family and relatives are pretty healthy. I'm sure it isn't due to the hmong food. We hmong people eat a lot of vegetables too. Talking about unhealthy food, I would rather eat hmong food than American food (Mcdonalds and all that other junk stuff).

  • @Johnaja I agree with you...actually hmong people still living in Thailand are actually healthier and living longer than hmong people living in the US. Hmong people living in the US is actually eatting more of what Americans people do not the traditional hmong food.

  • are u hmong her, herr, yang, vang, vue??

  • @asianforever1000 Xiong & Vang

  • @TheHmongcommunity VANG FTW?

  • hahaha its kinda like this with family partys

  • maybe u guys should change the way u look and speak hmong not english bc the old people cant comprehand

  • this is too unrealistic based on the visage of the people and their conversation!!!!

  • dahts alot of fooodsss!!

  • Why do I feel like people are being racist

  • Wow I want a mom like that to I well love her for life

  • Your mom gives you lots to eat!! If she was my mom I would sure give her a big hug!!

  • All this info is VERY TRUE. I know so many people with those symptoms because of the food they eat and drink..

  • the girl is so pretty

  • Kawg rog xwb lauj...!

  • only rich people have a lot of food. this family is rich.dont be jealous you fucking.

  • lmfaoalexander143 ur a fucking idiot.

  • ta lauk kawg

    tsis muaj manner lis

  • @somebodysgottadoit81 That's correct! we Hmong people didn't do any research and know nothing about food so even my parent do the same thing...we can't just eat meat and rice every day we have to eat other stuff too. Thanks for your support

  • damn yup hmong people get down wid dat shit!

  • my boyfriend brought home a bag of pork yesterday. i'm gonna show him this video haha

  • im a hmong guy that live by myself, and i eat cup noodle everyday

  • For some reason you guys look like a mexican family eating and the 3 dudes on the other side of the table look like korean.

  • Ok. On a serious note, now I'd like a medical confirmation: Eating pork will give you pimples? Please let me know when you find out the facts. I'd like to pass this on to anyone I know with pimples. Thanks! Btw, I HATE pork, too. Pigs reminds me of FAT nasty rats, so that's the reason why I don't eat pork.

  • @hedikomoon We do not have any confirmation...this is just a experience from our family and it does work for other friend that we pass this infor to. so, it's all up to you to make the decision and have the friends that have pimple to try it and you'll have the answer. Thanks for the comments

  • @TheHmongcommunity What is the taste of Hmong food? Is it sweet, sour and spicy like Laos food? What kinds of dishes usually present in a Hmong family meal? Thanks you very much.

  • This video is hilarious!.... Is this a new movie that is coming out or something?

  • @g729y82 Check out our channel and then comments!

  • nej cov uas los ua tshwm rau neeg ntiaj teb saib hauv no xav thov kom nej hais yam lus twg ces kom hais yam ntawd xwb cov saib thiab cov nloog thiaj li to taub, nej twb yog ua los qhia hmoob tab sis nej ho hais ntau yam lus sib xyaws ces ua rau s/d tsis to taub lawm.

  • I TOTALLY AGREE W/ THIS....alot of my parents generation (45+) dont realize the amount of fat, meat and rice (carbs) they intake on a daily basis. Its what they are used too...all they know....every meal mainly consist of this: big plate of rice (WHITE rice), dish with meat in it, soup with meat n veggies n it PLUS the only healthy thing on the menu...boiled greens by itself. OMFG....

  • dang you guys made such good food...

  • know wander ur family are fat cause all the good food.........well, i like it too.......good food

  • Looks good to me. if u dont like u can just slide all the goodies to my side of the table

  • Nice sharing.

  • You guys are hating! Meat is so good and healthy for you. Leej twg tsis xav noj nqaij ces txhob noj xwb.

  • Even though ur young or old...you do have health problem..so listen to these people..they are speaking from the truth..that's y they are telling us this..

  • dang, so many varieties of food, makin my mouth water

  • thanx for the tips.

  • at a wedding u do not have to drink beer....u could drink soda and water.

  • now that i believe eatting lots of meat can cause GOUT

  • yummy food!

  • is not what you eat.. how you eat? and stay within balance.. will keep you healthier. most important physical exercise. thanks for educated hmong ppl

  • dayum NOBODY washed their freakin hands!!! props for hella food tho! and where's the pepper with cilantro and green onions and fish sauce and lime at?? ya missing out on the main portion of the meal! smh.

  • dayum NOBODY washed their freakin hands!!! props for hella food tho!

  • its not that we are eating too much meat! it's just cause people fucken eat like there's no tommorow. Noj! Cuag Tsis Muaj Tag Kis! Plus they lack exercise. So when they fat they blame it on too much meat, but we all know it's not true

  • what you stated in the video saying that some time people get sick is because their not eating right and its not because of pog thiab yawg ua...i think you shouldn't have said that because some time it is because of them because they want money or food to eat...in general people get fat and not healthy is because of lack of exercise only, its because they are not burning enough calories...the only bad thing that hmong eat is rice..that about it everybody eat pork and shit too.

  • Please tell me this is just made up. Basically if you just workout and don't just sit and eat all day you'll be good. Hell i'm hmong and I eat everything I want and I have no health problems.

  • @ncyangwa When you're young everybody is healthy but when you get older you'll have more health problem...as we all know most of our Hmong people today do not like to workout.

  • its true but not all the time just watch what you eat, we as people in the US eat to much meat more veg

  • damn fat people and their eating habits

  • oooOH!.. Cas eees nej cov zaub mov ntxim QAB! ua luaj li.

Cia kuv Saj nej cov nqaij npuas seb!

  • Wow all i see are fork and knives, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE CHOPSTICKS?

  • @Albeastii Yes we do eat with chopsticks but only for a specific kind of food... we are not chinese or japanese so we don't eat with chopsticks all the time!

  • not all hmong food are bad..just the way how you prepare it. but i do said pork in a way is sorta bad. just don't eat a lot. and also i don't like how us hmong ppl. always eat cow shit when someone ua neeb. i think that is unhealthy and disgusting, but og always do it. in conclusion, it really is up the individual to change his/her diet and exercise to stay healthy.

  • Deciding to eat just one kind of food isn't good. Our body needs a balance of different nutrients...whether it be meat, grains, veggies, fruits, etc. Not all foods are bad for us. We just need to learn how to eat the right amount at a time.

  • @AlexanderKoobtsheej Pork is bad for our body...it's not recommend by Doctor.

  • @AlexanderKoobtsheej not all foods are good for our body..especially processed food!! eat natural foods..anyway, i think it is what we eat, when we eat it, how much we're eating is what need to take into consideration, so we can stay healthy.

  • but my health is good tho....tats what my doctor say....

  • reallie...but i did ate pig for the whole month but why i dnt have pimples...n im not fat or anything...im all good n not sick too..not try to show off but its true....:)

  • @angelathatekweelee Yes, it only happen on some people only..not everybody! but about your health, it'll happen when you get older and that's true...if you don't think so please do some research about Hmong people.

  • Good stuff but we only live on life eat what you can hehehe!!!!!! Pho jumbo baby :-)

  • they eat so fast..you know how hmong big

    families are

  • they eat so fast..you know how hmong families are

  • Good point. However, majority of the girls in this video were unhealthy and rather heavy set. I believe u guys are trying to send a message out, but I hope you guys take your own advices as well. Furthermore, only the guy at the end mentioned exercise which is also very important along with a good diet.

  • @Gurlhmong I know, we trying to have these lady go on diet...

  • Very good point!!

  • this is not fucking hmong food. who the hell eats bread with rice.

  • @alauj lol!

  • This is a good start to advice our hmong ppls. Everything you guys mentioned is true. I think our hmong need to eat more lean meat, fish, fruits and veggies, instead of fatty stuffs. As far as i see, everywhere i went i saw fat and obese hmong young and old. We must modify our diet and eat more healthier food, so we (hmongs) can look good as healthy as many other good looking asian out there. Thanks.

  • one thing that bothers me is that those two guys who came over didn't even wash their hands before they set down to eat....but the foods look good haha.

  • Thats a NICE house. :]

    nice vid though.

  • dang ya got some bomb ass food hahaha....by the way nice video keep up the good work....mikeher

  • Wowww, you guys/girls made me hungry (:

  • the food is enough to feed 100 people. we need to eat more so we can store our fat during winter.

  • Wow

  • wow that looks like a party not a normal meal :)

  • All I have to say is that ALOT of hmong people, especially the elders, they lack exercise. All we do is eat, and sit. That goes for mostly workforce as well. We dont sweat as much as our ancestor did back in LAOS.We keep our calories while they burned their during farming or walking to and from the stores. All I have to say is that, everyone can have meat in their diet, you just have to understand that too much of ANYTHING is bad.Clean your COLON every year. think about how much build up there is.

  • The movie was good. The facts were informative. Responding to freshmint022, I think they were saying some of the hmong people when they eat fatty, thick skin pork they get acne. For example, when you go to a Hmong party, they usually always have vegetable boiled with pork, and mostly all the time, the fat on the pork would usually be 1 inch thick. You consuming that, you body store it as fat. A lot of fat results is obesity, resulting not taking care of yourself, results in acne, or other disease

  • Good Movie by the way, very informational too!

  • you guys look really rich with all that variety of food on your table. at my house, a meal consist of the rice, stir fried pork/beef,chicken, pepper, and the veggie drink. that's it.

  • @kabvang no shit, this family makes me look poor as hell..lol

  • LOL... look at the stack of bread slices.. hahaha

  • @meab3

i know every time i re watch this video ..i laugh at us ....hahaha this is what thehmong community is all about making our fans laugh and have a good time watching the videos we make lol....thanks for supporting ^_^

  • Haha I Love And Enjoy All Of your Movies. Very Entertaining. :D

  • I agree that eating to much red meat is bad. But I grew up with eating pork until high school. I never had bad breakout as some of you mentioned; actually I didn't even have acne at all. Don't worry, I have cut pork out of my diet and now I am only eating chicken.

  • It is true that we need to change the way we eat but meat is not the only reason why we are unhealthy. Things like eating bread or any other products with carbohydrate play a big factors in become unhealthy. But i do agree that we need to change the way we cook our food, especially boiling meat.

  • technically our elders ate healthier than we did, back in asia. i mean if you look at the older hmong parents, or so, grandparents, they are more likely to not eat fatty food. they rarely eat fried things that is why they are so healthy as well as the gardening, that is their exercise in laos/thailand/asia that is why they are more healthy. just my spit of thought. well done video either ways.

  • @ayangktmtu i found what you say is really true, but hmong people this day that live in the USA are much lazier than the one in Laos or Thailand. They tend to be more fit and healthier because they're always farming and walkin alot, but here we got cars and store to go and buy food.

  • @jerryxiong1744 hey what do you expect. in america everyone has cars. it's a form of living in america and people won't change that. so you cannot compare hmong in america to hmong laos..b/c hmong laos..walk everywhere and many do not go to school where they have to sit all day long and they don't have cars to travel to places. also foods may not be as abundant as foods in america, so they prob. eat a small meals.

  • @ibelieveinfairy yet again i was just saying why hmong people in the united states are unhealthly these days because we got food everywhere, for example. Mcdonalds, Burgerking, Tacobell, all these food makes us unhealthly, And yes hmong people in USA have cars but what im saying is that we have cars that can drive us to anywhere we want like getting something to eat, but hmong in laos walks miles and miles just to buy food and yes they prob. do eat a small portion of food.

  • @ibelieveinfairy But what we are trying to get the letter out there is that we hmong need get the elder people to start thinking and eating healthier food so people out there wont have to waste thousands of money to go to the hospital and find out that they need to cut on their food.

  • @jerryxiong1744 well most of them are on medical so they don't get charge for anything..it's okay..and plus it's not just food that get you sick, there are many things out there that can get you sick as well..

  • @ibelieveinfairy true, not just food that is getting you sick, there's many things out there that can get you sick, but what is the most important part of your body is health. If you are healthly you wont get sick as much as other people. why do you think athlete's, for example, are healthly, because they watch what they eat and they excerise daily. If you are healthly and watch what you are eatting you can save your time and trip to the doctors.

  • @ayangktmtu : not only that but the serving sizes were much smaller too.

  • @mimvaj agreed

  • ewwww..he cough on his hand, now he's gonna spread germs around. lol

  • Awww, Nancy, you look so cute as a mommy! Haha! :D Good video.. very true. I try as much as I can to just stick to zaub. I TRY. LOL.

  • @threethreeoh

    hahah thankx nalee
