@issueagent No its not. A large Engine like that creates a low pressure area, lowering the temperature necessary for cloud formation. Therefore you get a vortex.

radial movement of air path from ground to inlet interact with axial velocity components of air, that interaction creates the vortex .
In addition, condensation also shows boundary layer separation at inlet leading edge, because it's working under off design condition.
