Do you have any tutorials or anything of the sort on how you did this? I really wanna try an adapt this into Operation Flashpoint. As my PC's not powerful enough for ArmA/ArmA 2 :(

Well a lot of this just came out of trial and error. UNN and I have been messing around with OFP & ArmA engines since 2002 so between us we have a pretty good understanding of the game engines.
The system shown above is the fusion of concepts, but the scripts are unique. UNN is a scripting genius! (Honestly I'm constantly amazed at the stuff he makes)

Hopefully, you wouldnt need to make that many changes.
Well you can "copy and paste" scripts but with the new engine capability the method used in these scripts would be a bit wasteful. You can get far better performance using ArmA2's native commands.
Technically yes, but the AI are too stupid to use it. They constantly try to dive bomb targets making the AC-130 utterly pointless. It would have to be flown and manned by players.

Wow, Rock. This system will completely solidify the air superiority of combat in Armed Assault. That's amazing. LOVE the top-down display of the target destruction.
You may not realise it but that is the realtime view from, the UAV's turret its not like other scripted/dialog driven UAV systems. The viewpoint depends purely on the position of the UAV and its turret.
Its something I made a very long time ago for OFP. It was very quickly ported over. The original texture mapping caused horrible ST errors so I removed the mapping and textures. The only mapping left is the wheels and the gear bays. Its not a very good mesh -- you can see the wheels poking through at one point. :)
The release will include "good" MQ-1 Predator A and MQ-9 Reaper models.
The horrible setAperture function will be part of the final release. Personally i dislike it, it really distorts the image but alot of people seem to want it.
Nice mod and great choice of music - nice change from the normal euro-metal noizewerkz that accompanies so many "military" videos - I like my gun porn with a bit of class ;)
"Queen Latifah-Close Your Eyes" is the song, but it's a really nice suprise to see this neat little feature. Well done guys, another practical, productive and researched bit of work, cant wait to use it. Pushed the boundaries of ArmA's interface yet another step.

on arma 2 you can use a command to attach it to a plane, but its unrealistc and unpractical

Sorry but this wont ever work with OFP. The game engine just isnt up to it . This system is dependant on the ArmA1 and 2 engine changes.

Nope and its not something we would offer them. And with the advent of ArmA2 it would need to be completely rewritten.

Im in the procces of making a AC-130 and i've also been trying to get around that you cant have a turret on a plane class.
So how did you guys do it, or cant you tell me and ill have to find out when you realse the uav??

Yes they will be armed versions of the Predator A and Reaper.
