If there was ever a composer that I felt really captured a little piece of heaven in everything he wrote it would be Palestrina. When I studied 16 century counterpoint in college I could not get enough of this man. Several years ago when I sang with a local music group we performed a piece that was written by a modern day composer called "Mary's Wonder". I can't help but notice a strong influence upon the composer from Palestrina especially from this piece. Thank you for sharing. God Bless.

congratulations, this is a superb interpretation of sicut cervus. from the start, your choir balance and timbre are stunning. the diminuendo at the end is nothing short of perfect. your pitch is exact and your voices true. i have searched through the different sicut cervus YouTube videos to date and this one is certainly the best.

Agree with you. The polyphony with Poznanskie is always staggering, very nice example with them approach. Also the approach come from england with the Westminster Cathedral Choir in London is another good example how this period can be singing.
