This is not Carbuncle. You will see Carbuncle in a scene where Lightning realize that Cocoon people was the Cocoon's Fal Cie's pets. He's a gigantic spinning machine that does the food department.

@evilcloud85 A year ago, when this video was posted, no one knew Carbuncle, Siren, Ifrit, etc. weren't usable Eidolons. It was actually only truly revealed that that was the case earlier this month when the game was released and people played through it.

@evilcloud85 I believe you fail. If you go to one of the shops that sells the dolls of the eidolons right before this scene, someone'll say "Carubuncle is so cute." Just because the Fal'Cie is named Carbuncle doesn't mean this isn't it either.

@evilcloud85 actually there are two things in FFXIII called carbuncle, one is a fal cie that gives palumpolum food, the other is an eidolon in pompa sancta, so no , not fail

@UmbrellaCorpTeam Even though her primary Eidolon is Hecatoncheir, it's possible that just for the sake of the story she summons Carbuncle for just that particular moment, and that it doesn't bind to her or anything.

yea i agree but, i dont think ff12 was a bad game =S i liked it really much (yet not as much as 4,6,7 or 10) i just think people hasnt got enough intelligence to understand the plot... it was quite complex with all that political things and blablabla... i know there is people "this game sucks coz no one looks like cloud and anyone dies" if u analize it a littl bit u will find out that is true...

Very true. But the is, FFXII lacked depth. The main story was interesting in it's own way, but it stopped so short, because the development team focused so heavily on side-quests/missions and character advancement. That really caused neglect for the things the series is known for (huge flashy high-end graphics, and epic story lines.)

The graphics weren't bad, but I didn't get the same feeling from them as I did from 7-10. The storyline is what really got me. It just doesn't compare at all.

i understand what you mean.... naturally when playing 7-10 wehn 2-4 and the remakes and even tactics, i had this feeling of great joy.... although 12 wasnt bad it just didnt give me the same feeling i got from the rest :)
