@libre20012 Dude why do you care so much? get a life. Most of canada can't stand america and thinks the way you guys act is disgusting. So if you think canadians are basically americans you would be extremely wrong. The way of life here is completely different.
@libre20012 Dude, shut the fuck up. Actually my school books and paper and tv is not from the states dipshit. If you are going to go down that road then all americans are gosh darn chinese. Get a life, no one gives a fuck this video is a year old.
@libre20012 Moron. By the way, we speak UK English. Although, our accents are more American. Quebecois accents are dirty compared to real French accents.
@libre20012 'You speak american' you dumbass american is not a language. It's English. The only thing that's different is the way we pronounce things. Also FYI our papers, school books, and TV are not from the states. Every hear of Republic of Doyle? No? Well it's shot right where I live. In the middle of mother fucking Newfoundland Canada. So don't try to even say we get all our shit from you.
I say "eh?" sometimesss, but I do use "you know?" and "right?" a lot as well :P.. but I like the way you say Canada, it's not the way we say it in Ontario!
your right not everyone says Eh, im from Nova Scotia and i have never heard Eh down here..everyone puts Canada under one umbrella and think we all talk the same...which is ignorant..cause you can hear the different accents from the different states, like Florida wouldn't sound like Texas..so i don't understand why they would think it would be different here in Canada,,each province has their own accents, slang, different words they use ..
@tlrs34 Yes, New York has a different accent to California etc. etc. The U.S has people from all over the world. So we get accents from those other country's, or states.
@tlrs34 Excellent point on different Provinces/regions having different accents and slang, but where are you from in NS that you've never heard someone say eh?
Currently on my fb newsfeed:
R - "I find friday comes quick when ya drink a few days during the week lolll"
@MaxPower983 I'm from Halifax...and i don't hear anyone say eh here, i also lived in Windsor NS for 7 yrs and they don't say eh there either.. i'm not saying that no one says eh here in NS but its not common, even different parts of one province will have different accents and slangs..up in cape breaton you'll hear more" bi" then you would in Halifax, i find the cape breaton accent is close to the nfld accent in ways.
@JW33JaZ COOOL STORY BRO! No fucking shit they mean the same thing. Sorry I just woke up and I am really sick of the same dumb comment over and over again on this video.
@shakeyohoneybuns No prob, only thing I know about Canadians is that apparently you's like maple syrup, Bacon & favourite sport is hockey, and your nicer compared to the country right below you lol, & I love it when you's say out & about "Oot & aboot" lol ^_^
A few years ago two parents went out to dinner. The babysitter called and asked if she could cover up the clown sculpture in the Childs bedroom. The parents told the babysitter to get out their self and the child out of the house; they had no clown sculpture. Turns out the clown wad a old serial killer who had been killed in prison 10 years before. Post this on 10 videos or else the clown will appear in your room with a chainsaw at three in the morning.
I'm canadian, don't know what a Canadian accent sounds like. I don't say "eh" I say right? Or u know? Just like u do. But my parents say eh? And I say zed instead of zee
@TuRnBULL1995 You spelt canadian wrong... ahah just because I dont say eh, and dont watch hockey means I am not canadian? shhhutup. At least I play road hockey. And I want to live in nova scotia bad!
I'm from British Columbia , and people here do infact say "eh" after their sentences quite a bit , and when agreeing with someone , people here often say "I know , eh ?"
Never been to a real hockey game ?? :O You haven't lived . :P
I just want to say one thing... We "oil rig" town canadians are no hilbillies! Lol! Some of the people i no whos parents own the oil rigs are the richest/rudest people ever!!!
@MsAshlayxoxo Oh well no shit. I am talking about the people that live just like up there and spend all there money on booze. ahaha plus those are just the first words that came out of my mouth if you couldn't tell..haha =]
Try saying "about". Listen to someone from the states say "about" and you'll notice a difference. "Sorry" is also a useful word to hear the differences.
@shakeyohoneybuns That's the way I always felt about it. It's not that we say "aboot" but it certainly does sound different. And saying "aboot" sounds goofy and fun, so that's what people like to do to, well, not "mock" us, but something along the lines. Similar to how, when trying to do an Asian accent, people will replace Rs and Ls. Asians don't ACTUALLY do that, but their Rs and Ls DO sound a little funny, so, by switching them, it makes an attempt to sound Asian and silly at the same time.
@shakeyohoneybuns Well, that's what people do when making fun of something... exaggerate. I'm from Scotland and our accents are always made to seem crazy with lots of 'r' rolling and really harsh (Like wullie from The Simpsons)
@JILLIANBEANSPROUT from a Second City TV comedy series with characters Bob and Doug Mackenzie who sat around drinking beer and eating back bacon. it means something between "loser" and "dude".
