Tiger Williams was like Matt Barnaby of today. He would agitate, when he dropped the gloves got in tight, when the lines would break it up he would sneak a few punches. if one fell on the ice he would puch when one was down. He had a great amount of skill and played on a regular line and had a big heart.
Funny to hear guys on YouTube who couldn't even handle their little sisters talking smack against against a guy who had hundreds of fights in his hockey career. Williams wasn't a big guy, but went at some of the top dogs of the 70s in Nystrom, Gassoff, Semenko, O'Reilly, Behn Wilson, Brad Maxwell, Howatt, Wensink, Schultz, McIlhargey, etc. It would be a better league today if there were more players like Tiger Williams in it.
I liked Tiger as a leaf but sometimes he bit off more than he could chew, like here.

edge nystrom, but looked like tiger did get in an uppercut on the other side and a side shot at one point. nystrom punches mostly hit helmet.

Tiger was always a tuff guy with guys that didnt fight too often,,,,,,,,,but, when he went up against real fighters, he grabbed and held.
