@theeclownbro First, the mod as it is on this video, is not available for download. I'm the only one to get access. Just guess why. :) Second, you can however grab those ships to freespacemods _dot_ net.

Third, you need to learn hpw to installs mods and more precisely to make a mods. The wiki on hardlight is very complete.

Fourth, I can't answer to people request. I don't know the name of the sound track. since I just grab it from Blue Planet 2: War in Heaven.

@theeclownbro And, I've just forget. The cockpit is a built-in cockpit from the fighters itself. But to get it in-game, you need to modify ships tbl/tbm by adding the flag "show ship".

@theeclownbro That is because the mods available for this game are not reliable and this game is old as shit. You are lucky to get a mod where the links are not broken or the mod is not fucked up requiring much effort on your part. If a mod can't be copied and pasted or simply installed its not worth even dicking with.

1. when i installed the SCP, nothing was changed. it seemed like the same old game, i even used the launcher and stuff. How do i install it correctly?

@deifiedx You can play online. But it's very hard to find people. Except if you knows somme people where you can play with. However, Freespace 2 is mainly a solo video game.

Almost a year and only 7.5K views, why? because this game is played by "pros" with keyboard ONLY... even most if not all games are played in PCs with mouse+keyboard or joystick+keyboard, as long as this game don't come to the current gaming standards for more practical gaming will always be a wannabe.

@saultube44 What ? You know, you can play Freespace 2 on several controller, like playing only with a joystick, or joystick with Keyboard, or mouse & keyboard or with a gamepad with keyboard.

And you don't really need to know each 100 keyboard buttons to play it.

@MetalDestroyer77 The mouse controller is relatively new and it doens't work very well compared with current same type of game; there are a few controllers and none work as they should, they're still getting tweaked, same for joystick, the only one that works good is the keyboard one that was optimized when games were mostly keyboard only and FreeSpace was a commercial game. You get owned by the game on difficulties hard and above because of this.

You can play, that doesn't mean it'll be fun.

@darkcormb you need a Track IR device, or use FreeTrack/Face Track No IR. The last two are software which allow you to get free look with a webcam.
