I was a guest last summer at Hostel no.8 and I dare to say it has become a very clean and pleasurable place. One must remember it is a hostel, not a hotel; therefore, the luxuries are limited.

this is really not nice. The hostel changed alot and it's very good when you think about the prices there. I want to see you running a cheap hostel and a luxurious hostel at one time. it's great for young people to travel, and its a HOSTEL not a HOTEL, it's mostly made for sleeping there, not for spending your whole holidays in your room. so search another one if you don't like it and stop making a bad reputation.

I've got to say that it has changed A LOT since 2007. I spent two weeks there 5 months ago and it was much cleaner and better looking. But I still would not recommend it. Bathrooms are used by both sexes. No privacy for women. "Continental Breakfast" is just cornflakes and toast. Internet access is THE WORST I have ever used, drops out every other minute. "Secure storage" means bags are placed behind the counter. During my second stay, the hostel housed the same guests who were there almost

I've just stayed two nights in that "hostel", if we can call it like that... it was just awful, everything was horribly dirty, just never go there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

esta bien, le haria falta unas cuantas manos d pintura pero esta way, y ellos son super encantadores...mi ventana si tenia cortinas, los baños...bueno....tirando....la terraza la cocina el bar.....way....es mas si vuelvo a londres vuelvo a el mismo albergue.....

I stayed at N.8 several times, I didn't know any better at the time, lol. The price wasn't bad, but, thruth be told, there are hostels just as cheap or cheaper closer to the west end, try Princess square, better and cheaper in fact. Anyway, worst thing about N.8 is the chink owners, buncha bastards. Only thing worse there I met there were the Spaniards...pues los Espanoles son como cucarachas, siempre lo han sido y siempre lo seran. Pedazos de mierda!

I was several time there and it was not so bad like it is shown in this video. Maybe they were just renovating...! And for the price, it was great!...

I stayed there and yeah the place aint in top notch condition, but if u want that kind of accomdation u go to a hotel. they had a pool table, a bar, friendly staff and good bed, what more could u want?

What the hell do you expect??? The hostel is the cheapest place to stay in London... you get what you pay for!!! I stayed there for two nights and its fine if you just want a place to sleep at night.
