  • I'm reading the biography of Peter right now, and am a little about half way through. I think you are right, although, I do think he was ready for the popularity, he did like not being locked into a series. 39 years ago today, he spent his last day on the set..went home, watched his show and somewhere between that and one in the morning, he couldn't take it anymore. I wish he could've made it through the rough patch, too. He could've done so much more.

  • I watched his Show way back when. Never really got the story line all that much. Pete was right could of had better writers. The thing is what a Great gig it was for him. So he was talented. Very young just not ready yet for somany people to dependent on him. It does happen to some of the People who are the brightest. So its sad. Seems like, if he could of made through that bad patch of life he could of helped alot of people.

  • I wasn't born until 1990 but my mom introduced me to him back in 2005 when I was 14 and I was born the same month he passed away in (I was born on the 10th). I've been in love with him ever since then. I have the whole "Alias Smith and Jones" series on DVD and I enjoy watching him playing Hannibal Heyes. Thanks so much for this wonderful video.

  • @PeteDuel1971 I was born in 1991... I know how you feel! He was so wonderful.

  • I remember him way back when....loved him then....love him now!

  • I remember him.
