  • fuck you jewish shit

  • @HyakuZaku ...but I'm not Jewish. I'm Scottish-Irish-English. I'm probably "whiter" than you, numbnuts.

  • Skinny Jeans were around in the 80's all the 'Hair' and Thrash metal bands wore them and the bandana around the leg dates back to the Happy Days show. lol

  • @MrZombieguitar Very true. Didn't think about that when I put this video together. Good call.

Maybe it's time for a "redux" *chuckle*

  • @RantingRamsay Hahah! I love your videos, they are quite entertaining especially the "Re: Metal is Satanic".

I have a question; that anti-nazi poster behind you, is that from The Dead Kennedys album "Nazi Punks F**k Off"?

  • For the 90's, you forgot Austin 3:16 and various parodies appearing at every sporting event, not just wrestling.

  • Common decency was a fad... 'sigh'

  • You forgot sagging >.<

  • Well, thanks for reminding me that I still live in 2004.

  • @Bioshot11 lol sorry about that.

  • @RantingRamsay Thats fine. lol I actually prefer the jeans, vans, etc to this new windpants and mesh shoes thing going on where I am.

  • @Bioshot11 Me too, really. I still just wear t-shirts and cargo shorts/pants and vans or running shoes like asics or something. Never been really huge on style. I just like to be comfortable.

  • dude for 80's fads your missing denim vests/jackets with band patches. Also thrash metal

  • wow, who the fuck has an anti nazi poster in their room....

  • @CocoKing238 HE DOES lol

  • @CocoKing238 My brother has an anti-nazi sweatshirt.

  • I think this is the first video that i saw of your's

  • @procritic09 Tell the truth, it was the awesome music that got you to keep watching my videos... heheh...

  • @RantingRamsay yep.

  • Weren't Rubik's Cubes an 80's fad?

  • I remember about half of the 90's stuff you posted.

Basically, I remember every 00's fad.

  • @platinumluigi same.

  • I hope wanna be gangster was on the absurd adult and children fads list before you edited them =P (for 1990's and 2000's)

  • @bllau I thought about it, but, really, it's not a fad. It's a style of dress "pioneered", so to speak, by a part of American culture that has endured quite a while, really.

True, it can seem like a fad with groups of people adopting the "urban" style en-masse, but it seemed like a trivialization of the contributions to our united culture from a significant source. In other words, I didn't want to downplay the culture by labeling it's style of dress as a fad. *shrugs*

  • You should redo this video would pictures (or short clips). I know it would be alot more work but I think it would get you a lot more viewers and increase the quality of your channel. Also it would be entertaining. Let me know if you do.

  • @Bobio1138 That's actually not a bad idea

  • @RantingRamsay Im 21 years old. My parents are both over 50, but I still didnt know half of these.

  • Love your flag in the back !!

LMAO and agree with the list.

  • aw man. Pokemon, that was my favorite!

  • Power Rangers was a popular fad in the 90's.

  • @AllieRX87 you're absolutely right... don't know how I missed that one...

  • Hmmmm Dont feel Like Reading

  • 2000's

    Lady Gaga

  • Nice one mate. Was glad you put those damn tight pants on the list. Shouldv'e also put those people who think they're making a difference by buying bags with peace on it.. Or Free Tibet stuff.

  • Fad followers obviously won't think for themselves. They can but they won't.

  • forgot the music fads and um war stuff 9/11 keep in mind or a reminder w/e just extra bs you could add if ya want but mostly great job i got a bit lost on the 1950 - 1960 part not my kinda history except for the rock music that was good ol 60s

  • @mastalife1 A lot of the ones for the 50's were hair styles. I thought about adding in the Beatles and doors and stuff like that but opted against it as a lot of that music has endured.

  • The only things I like from the 2000s list are the American Flags, and maybe the mini skirts with leggings (It's quite sexy).

  • uh, i wouldnt consider pokemon a fad, since its still extremely popular about 15 years later, still breaking records every time a new game is released for "fastest selling game of all time"

  • @JoePotato28 I would most certainly label it as a fad, as at the absolute height of its popularity you couldn't turn on your TV or go to a store without seeing some sort of advertising for it. Now, not so much. In fact, not at all. There's never been a Pokemon game of any notoriety on any system not made by Nintendo.

It may not be a FAD in Japan, but the list is of American Fads, and Pokemon was exactly that in the states. (most revenue you mention in game sales came from outside the US)

  • I'm surprised online dating didn't make it to the 2000's.

  • Has YouTube offered you a parntership yet? If not then they should.

  • The scariest thing is I know what everything you listed is...

Also I had an inverse eargasm. I'm bleeding. I should go to a hospital.

  • lol fuck crocs, by far the worst fad to ever hit any country ever. I don't care is they're comfortable, you like a fucking 4 year old.

  • Nice stroll through my past. 90's and 00'

  • now i feel awful for being a walking talking fad of the 80s and 90s. I used to dress like Punky Brewster until about age 6. I must now hang my head in shame.

  • Nice video, Ramsay. Although, I'm not sure 'diners' could really be considered a fad?

  • You missed Internet memes for the 2000's.

  • No "Greetings, internet people!"?

Also, you forgot to mention the Leningrad Cowboys hairstyle. Not that anybody wore it, people just wished they had the confidence to do so.

  • @ScaniaChan sorry, it actually got chopped for time. lol. rest assured, it was said. ... ... nice to know someone is paying that close of attention... heheh :)

  • Horrible music found on the internet? Not your band is it???

  • @jackfordmac ... ... ... I exercise my 5th amendment rights on the grounds that the answer may serve to incriminate me...

  • @RantingRamsay Hey, it sounds like theme from Space Ghost Coast To Coast... at times.
