good job mate but a simple "muggle" mistake the first level is just lumos then theres lumos maxima. maxima is enhancing or a strengthening charm but really good. just my ocd kicking in
That is really cool. My dad made me a wand like that when I was little. It didn't have light or anything, but I had a pretty wild imagination so it did well enough for me :)
Anyway, that's pretty cool and awesome that you did it for your kids. Hand-made things like that are always the best.
One thing though, I was expecting it to be a bit... brighter :O
I'd say it's more like lumos, rather than lumos maxima. :D
As to brightness...on camera no it is not very bright, camera is not nearly as sensitive as your eyes can be. In the dark you can read w/ it and see in a pitch black house. It's maxima then. ;)
Capt. that's a beautiful Wand, I'm gonna make one out of cherry wood and stain mine to look old, hey did you hurt your hand working on yours? anyway you did a great job.
Nope, no boo-boos sustained while in the making of this wand. It's a cut from splittin' wood. :) all better now, I was just keepin' it covered for a bit.

@FRiiZL3 btw, in reality it does light up the room pretty well, the camera can't show that, the light and the dark are too extreme...
