Bösendorfer 9999999999999999 - 0 Fazioli. Fazioli's sound is Yamaha-like, a very artificial and horrible sound. While Bösendorfer's is much darker, and much richer.
there is a some masterpieces were created for ORCHESTRAL PERFORMANCES ONLY ... none of any top brands of piano-manufacturing could even get CLOSE to it...NONE !!!!
Nice job guys! This was played very well, but...for a real artistic and emotional version check out Fred Oldenburg if you haven't seen his video yet...brilliantly played! Although it's a solo, it sounded as if it was done by a quartet. That's how amazing this guy is!!!
lol... this is funny. let's make comments about 2 expensive concert grands while listening to them on a mediocre audio recording with their lids pointing straight into each other and the mics are favoring one side, causing some sort of crazy echo from the hall. brilliant! if you want to discuss 2 pianos and their sound, go hear them in person after they've been tuned & voiced by a piano technician. then you might come to a non-ignorant conclusion about which one you prefer. meanwhile nice music
I do love both Fazioli and Bösendorfer but if I had to deside between both of them i would take a Fazioli. I don't know why but I just like it better. But bösendorfer is great aswell, of corse
Because the volume is obviously small compared with FAZIOLI, right Bosendorfer might be ill-balanced toward. The sound of the overtone style of the pipe organ is performed with FAZIOLI.
@gouloum2222 I hate it when people try to say that performances (beyond a limited few that are obviously bad) lack "musicality". WTF is that even supposed to mean? It's clearly music. If you don't like the interpretation, that's one thing, but to use a phrase like "lack of musicality", indicating a lack of what Oxford defines as "the quality or character of being musical" for something which is clearly a musical work is absurd and irritating, because it is an argument with no logic or substance.
@tehDalahast thats precisely the reason why i put imho. If you prefer, i can translate it for you " i found the performance average because i don't like the interpretation ". doesnt sound very locial either, does it?why? because for me there is no particular interpretation here! thats why i prefered using "lack of musicality"( as musicality leads to interpretation) . hope you understand my reasoning.( continued...)
@tehDalahast and musicality does mean stg. if it had no sense, you'll admit that we shouldnt need any piano players, any human beings, but just some automatic pianos who also can play any piano piece if programmed well. do you get it now? "it's clearly music" : musicality doesnt refer to music itself (that would be wayy too easy lol) but to the take of the HUMAN BEING on the music.played. hope yoou understand what i meant, that was hard to explain in english :)
@gouloum2222 The interpretation is rather plain, yes. But the way you phrased it initially made it sound (to me, in any case) like something else. I agree that it could have sounded less, hm, mechanical, if you will.
@thesynthmaster92 i hear you my friend, but nothing can catch you as the feeling of playing an Bösendorfer 290.... It's insane.. can't describe it in words...
@Sanitoeter666 you might be right, sure. I didn't play on bösendorfer for quite a long time. The last on was an older one which was quite untuned and stood in the room of my old school. :D It must be like comparing maserati to ferrari. They are both top cars right? And so its about the pianos. one is the Lion the otherone is the tiger. That's my view. Stainways are like hyena. They appear more often but lions and tigers are still stronger. :D
@Sanitoeter666 I'm just sayin this cuz I wanna buy a grand within the next 5 years. :DI know there's a long way to get this but dreamin is everything isn't it? Sounds weird but it also worked with my iMac. :D 4 years ago I started thinkin of getting new device to make better quality music and also record my piano or things like that but I didn't know where to get the money for new device. But I never stopped dreaming about it you know. Now I found a way and got my brand new iMac right there. :D

FAZIOLI is an infant brand, but now it's one of the best pianos in the world. FAZIOLI has beautiful sound.

I rather like Bosendorfer
but how to do the pipe organ tone on FAZIOLI???

Thanks for posting. Looks like a lot of fun. great contrast of tone between the Fazioli and Bosendorfer

@c20500
Thanks for listening.
Bosendorfer is like an instrument and FAZIOLI completely different.
The performance difference is larger.
