My 1994 Grand Prix starts out in 2nd gear and doesn't shift into overdrive. Any idea what the problem is. I have the 2nd gear start option but whether it is on or off it starts in 2nd and won't go into overdrive.

I'd guess that your 1st gear is gone and so is your OD. That or you have some solenoids stuck in your valve body.

I have raced a 98 Monte w/ a 3800 and it only put 1/2 a car on me to 85

i raced a few 3.8 GT's they didnt seem to be that fast on the highway , i also beat my boy with a 99 grand am gt , lol
