I prayed a nine hour novena to Padre Pio...A day before I decided to pray it, in my dreams I felt a smell of parfume. A day after I finished the novena, I received a message which served me as a sign that my request will be answered. Thank you Padre Pio, I did not deserve it.

I hope mothers' suffering would be a good thing. Even Alice Cooper sang a song called "Dead Babies" about babies with mothers who were too busy enjoying themselves. Existence allows us God's love. We can't be loved if we don't exist. God's love allows us life after this life that is happy and has no suffering. It's like studying for a license for a fancy job. The studying sucks, but then you probably have victory, whether it be the license or a well-trained brain--or both.
Someday you will get to know God's love; then you will kneel in desperate repentance for these words, as well as for many others, and be forgiven. You will spend the rest of your life proclaiming the miracle of the mercy of God and many will convert to Jesus through what your mouth will utter.
In my mentality (being melancholic), life sucks and then you die (physically), but then I haven't striven for much recently. Still, I think suffering makes life worth living, as opposed to the "good life" of constant privilege (though that can be of use if you are thankful to God for it and use it for good) and then there's heaven (which Faith informs me exists for those who love God back).

Now, the false peace of the UN or false ecumenism as well as the stripping of our important healthy traditions with a small "t" since the late '60s should not be ok with anyone, but if you lose the peace only God gives over those matters, you won't find via or in any other source than the Catholic Church under those obedient 2 the Magisterium. God knows I know the emotions r difficult to control on our part, even with help from Heaven. U can't outwit the maker of knowledge.

I like the line by Poopdeck Pappy in Popeye: The Movie, when he complains about all you o for your kids and they just complain and say "No" to you. I fear I've let my melancoly get the best of me too often and I'm like what he complains about Popeye as a child. I think God feels we do that to Him, but like God, PP still took care of Popeye as a child (God always takes care of us, but lovingly gives us challenges). Popeye comes back to help him (though God needs no saving)

I hope mothers' suffering would be a good thing. Even Alice Cooper sang a song called "Dead Babies" about babies with mothers who were too busy enjoying themselves. God loves it when people care about others and that often involves suffering by ingrate children, students, etc. I feel you are full of anger about something and I understand, but it's making you think irrationally.. .

Existence allows us God's love. We can't be loved if we don't exist. God's love allows us life after this life that is happy and has no suffering. It's like studying for a license for a fancy job. The studying sucks, but then you probably have victory, whether it be the license or a well-trained brain--or both.

In my mentality (being melancholic), life sucks and then you die (physically), but then I haven't striven for much recently. Still, I think suffering makes life worth living, as opposed to the "good life" of constant privilege (though that can be of use if you are thankful to God for it and use it for good) and then there's heaven (which Faith informs me exists for those who love God back).

You are irrational. You would not be you and it would be pointless to not exist. If you are an atheist, you would go back to nonexistence, because you would believe there is no God, goddess or what else and there would be no point in complaining about God making you exist. However, people who really don't believe in any creating deity usually are not so angry.

all the anger towards God or the saints or the Catholic Church from people is to be expected. Everyone is walking towards God in their own way. With their lips they proclaim the dont believe and are angry while the many who say they believe have not the action or love to show it. Always be patient with the ones not in Gods ways . Always remember St Paul who used to revel in messing with Christians. God calls all.. especially the strong ( who many times resist at first)

I was wondering, if Padre Pio could read souls, why did they have to confess in Italian or Latin? I'm not questioning that he could and maybe it only happened when someone was holding back. I heard Ven. Solanus Casey could read souls, though. In any case, I've had an info. addiction so Egmag, even if you were well-informed, does it serve you if you're angry? I've read many conspiracy theories and was made angry, but I'll still never know all the facts. Peace is not in me, but I see it..

Yes, I truly believe in Christ's words. There are many false healers. Padre Pio is not one. You are precious in the eyes of Jesus. If you are so concerned about the reality and authenticity of the stigmata - why don't you ask Jesus if it is real - instead of remaining absorbed in your own ideas.
