Reminds me of a game called VOS, Virtual Orchestra Symphony, using a regular computer keyboard, though it looks like a great tool for teaching novices on the piano. It's almost like guitar TAB's for guitarists. I can't read music sheets myself, but I'd say that reading sheet music has it's limits. If you know the chords, the feel and what you want to hear, that's better in my eyes.

I am old , 50, never played any instrument, I have visual problems to look too close to a sheet, so for me this would be great!

I don't need to be a musician to enjoy music, and playing some of it.

I wonder which software is this... Anyone knows???

me neither, i used to play flute so its so hard for me to play the left hand . i got so used with the G clef.

um i need help with learning the right notes to play

i can only play piano by reading the notes(A,B,etc.)

i think its because i only know treble clef and not bass clef because i play alto sax in band. so its hard for me to play the left hand.

omg me 2 but with the bass cleff just move everything down one from alto music and thats what it is so a G in right hand is and F in bass clef

i'm really concerned about what the teacher is trying to achieve. What happens when the student wants to learn a piece that hasn't been transposed to this perpendicular software? How can he discern the different time values?  Is he using this software because there are issues with conventional music? How is he going to practice without the software as I assume he won't be taking it home with him?
