And yes, I would actually go as far as saying the scout you stairstabbed was not really too bright, if you stairstabbed him while he could see you jump like the scout in the vide ofc. If you did a blindstab or a reversed stairstab, then it's something else. Those are usually not as predictable and works more.

He did a very nice job at acting and blending in with the team when he stabbed the first scout, and he had some great game awareness as he knew the demo would retreat for health/ammo afterwards, and decided to wait with killing him until there. I'm just saying the stab on the scout was 90% luck and not as impressive as people make it out to be.

@MichaelKTV In that specific situation, no. I'd never expect a scout in a pug/comp match to be stupid enough to fall for it. I would simply just cloak and change direction while fully cloaked, and then change direction to a complete third one to throw him off. It would probably not work out, so I would probably just try to shoot him maybe. That stairstab was VERY lucky, and if that scout hadn't been stupid, he would have died immediately.

while i understand that spy is a rarity in competitive play and any sort of chainstabbing is usually worthy of MoG, this clip is not exemplary of good spies.

1. he disguised at the enemy demo. the enemy medic was healing his demo, then turned to heal the spy demo, then turned away. it was a failure on the medic's part not to call out spy

2. when he was underwater he say the incoming demo. instead of waiting for the demo to come to get a backstab, he pops out for a facestab...

@porogramorian hes recording the demo, the demo does not account for lag. that is the reason why so many sniper vids seem like they get head shots without hitting the head. valve engine takes into account the enemies and the players lag when determining the kill.

@burnandnorvegia It is pretty chaotic, which is why the only real way to play it is on the pc. But it doesn't HAVE to be chaotic. There's a huge amount to learn in the game, but it's also not that hard to just pick up and play. It would be too much to explain in words though, in my opinion. :P
