Little wimpy people think of destruction. It's their only way to control what they have no control over. Unless you're God, you have no idea what Joe did. He did his best, which you seem to be incapable of. Have a heart and respect a man who gave his life to serve others and not to be the press favorite.
Funny how people take the time out of their pathetic lives to attack someone who has passed away. The man is a legend, you are a nobody who no one cares about. Learn the story and understand the legal system and the story before you make assumptions about him. It's not all about what you hear on the news. Rest In Peace Joe, these people obviously don't know anything about Penn state football....
I can't believe the things say about joe pa he is a legend and people love him people wanna talk about everyone makes mistakes well jerkoffs this man made a mistake he is human like each and every one of us. Most people wouldn't snitch on a buddy for something and u know that most of y'all are to much of a coward to admit that.
For you people who think Joe's is in the wrong, your ASSHOLES we are all human, This man makes one mistake and you run him down, In his life time he has done more good in one year helping people, then you all have done in a life time, He did not let Sandusky do this, Joe's Boss did, and why was the first case dropped back in 92, could have put Sandusky away then
@Baldgol4 I completely agree... 60 years of service not just as a head coach, but as an educater. He built hospitals, librarys, and educational failities. He was the largest contributator to the special olympics. The man was a humanitarian, and there will never be another person like him. To fire him over the phone??? Wait until we find out the trustees knew what was going on the whole time! God bless Joseph Vinent Paterno. WE ARE!!!!
I believe that the board of Trustees killed Joe Pa. They acted wrongly and now they got there wish. They owe Joe Pa alot of respect. Rest In Peace Joe Pa. Gone but never forgotten
@popcornlover1100 Wow! Another hindsight genius? It's so easy to damn someone over a seemingly obvious decision.
He didn't walk away. He reported it to 2 of his superiors and they told him they would take care of it. Paterno actually did something but he's the 1 who gets most of the criticism because he's the most famous out of those involved.
Should he have done more in the scandal?
In hindsight, Yes.
I don't think he should be damned for a reasonable mistake when countless others did NOTHING.
He did no such thing. He did what he thought was right at the time. I am so glad that there are people out there that are so perfect. Show some respect for a man that did more in his lifetime for other people than most of us can every hope to.
It must be wonderful to sit back and do nothing but judge other people. He was an incredible man that trusted his morally corrupt supervisors to do the right thing. Last time I checked Joe Paterno's nickname was not Jerry Sandusky. Have some respect.
god bless joe paterno ...you will be deeply missed....thankyou for everything
