The only reservation I have is the rear sight when carrying IWB. Should I switch to Novak sights or are the stock ones good for not ripping your skin up?
@gunnutM14 Sights really are a personal choice. I can see your point and concern about this ripping into the skin. I've never had that problem. I do, however, always wear an undershirt. In all reality, the optic sight in the front is not really ideal for CCW either. That sucker gets broken and you're in trouble. Good luck!
I'm left eye dominant and have trouble with having a clear sight picture as well with both eyes open. My solution was to put clear tape on my shooting glasses over my non-dominant eye where my sights align. Lets me have a clean sight picture every time.
When shooting blinking DOES matter if you want to become very good with it. Seeing the sights lift after the shot is an advanced technique that cannot be accomplished while blinking. Not flinching, however, is the more critical of the two.
I bought one about 6 months ago. Wanted to share some experience I have with this gun. The magazine that comes with it, the black 8 round ACT-MAG, is really bad trust me. It forces bullets to smash against the feeding ramp and bumps that poor ramp. That may cause failures after some hundreds of rounds. Issue solved with some nice Chip McCormick PowerMags, now this gun is as good as a 4'000$ 1911 :)
Yes, it is the ACT-MAG...maybe I just have a lemon. I jams constantly with that mag in. Gunsmith buddy just did a trigger job and now it has a 3lb trigger pull. Amazing!

Were you closing your eyes on purpose every shot fired or???? Nice grouping even with your eyes shut!

@Creepinevil LOL, no, just the one eye closed. I'm right eye dominant.
myutahccw 1 year ago
@myutahccw you should be able to leave your eyes open then, unless you meant left eye dominate, but to each his own

@Lvl22nerd If they are, I got the worst lemon of them all. I'm shooting Chip McCormick Shooting Star mags now and they work great!

@DirtyDre81 Yeah, I had the exact same experience with magazine. I just picked up an IWB holster for this gun and rather excited about carrying it.

I love it!
In Germany you must pay 800€ for it.
And it is (almost) as accurate as the "target master" from my teammate.
In my opinion the magazine is ok. Is yours a "ACT-MAG" too?
