gotta be a crappy feeling not being able to see a damn thing. i guess you have your instriments (spelling) but still you gotta land somewhere but i guess the are harrier's and could land in a parking lot if they really needed too.

Superb quality vid. What camera did you use and also, how long did this take to upload to YouTube? (During a test it took me about 3hrs to upload a 9min vid!)

By the way, why are the Harriers being grounded in December?

@ianrkav Sony HDR SR10e handycam. HD video does take ages to upload, I try to keep my videos below 6 minutes long. The Harriers are being scrapped due to defence cuts.

@Wonkabar007 Ok thanks for that. I suppose once they've grounded the Harriers we'll get invaded, just like someone invaded the Falklands not long after we scrapped all our big carriers!

They could use ILS unfortunatly Dunsfold has no landing aids, they could see the piano keys as they went over but could not see them on the downwind leg, so could not land, made up for it on Thursday, thanks for this great video.

Great video that really sets the scene. Unfortunately I couldn't get there today because of work, but a mate of mine went and had to be disappointed by the weather. Your efforts make up for what we both missed and might have seen. Well done.
